Can this be placed directly on a stove burner for reheating?

I wouldn't think so because it's glass. I personally don't use it because the filter takes FOREVER to drip and I became quite impatient with it.

I’m believe it is not a leather but cork.

is this product lead free?

It is clear glass with cork around the neck. So unless glass has leads in it, yes it is lead free.

I do not know where this is from but it work terrible, the drip is nearly non existent.
