Each LED comes with built in voltage booster to maintain light output. No need to worry about voltage drop on landscape wiring of up to 100+ feet. Easily Convert All of Your Existing Garden Landscape Light Fixtures to LED. Installs in 5 Minutes or Less! STEP 1: Remove Shut off the main power, and carefully remove the plastic cover. Allow the bulb to cool down before removing. "Other fixtures may slightly look different" STEP 2: Replace Gently pull bulb away from the socket. Inspect fixture socket for damage or cracks. Make sure new led bulb has the same base type as old halogen bulb. STEP 3: Done! Carefully push the new led bulb into the socket. If force is needed, inspect the socket for damage and contact pins are aligned. Review: Great warm bright light, low heat, well made, great product. - These bulbs are terrific. We have a garden area lit at night with four landscape milky glass wall fixtures using 18-watt standard 12-volt bulbs. I wanted more light in that area, and these LEDs from SRRB were listed as about 35-watt equivalents, using 2.5 watts. I ordered a package of four, and they came almost immediately. I was pleased to see that the diodes were encased within a clear plastic housing which should provide very secure weather protection, unlike some of the other bulbs I have seen. The first night I installed only one so I could compare the light output, and the LED was noticeably brighter than the standard bulbs, in my estimation about twice as bright, so the 35-watt equivalency statement seems to be right on. After I replaced the other three bulbs the garen area is very nicely lit, just what we wanted, so we are very happy. The wedge bases were a perfect fit into the T5 fixtures, and these bulbs give great light and very little heat, just as you would expect from LEDs. Also the warm color temperature rating (3000K) seems to be right on as well, with no harsh white tone to the light. And there is no flickering at all. I am delighted with these, and am going to order another set in case I ever have to replace any in the event of damage (at 30,000 hours of rated life I doubt I will be replacing any for wearing out). Great product, SRRB. Review: Excellent T5 LED Warm Light Replacement for 18 Watt Halogen Malibu Landscape Low Voltage Lighting - LED bulbs draw WAY less power than traditional Halogen Landscape lighting bulb solutions. These T5 LED bulbs are well made and direct replacements for T5 Low Voltage 12 voltage halogen bulbs typical used in Malibu Landscape Lighting applications. There was an even lower power T5 bulb variant but I chose these to give me MORE Lumens so they were just as bright as my original 18 watt 12 volt Halogen T5s. These 2.5 Watt T5 LED bulbs have the same Warm Light spectral "color" as my original halogens but using less than 15% the power. Myt backyard low voltage wiring run is fairly far away from my transformer so at 2.5 watts, I have a dozen landscape lighting fixtures that show NO voltage drop illumination issues with these LEDs. Additionally, these T5 LED bulbs DO NOT flicker and were literally a five minute pull-out-old-halogen-bulb and replace-with-new-LED-bulb process. Since the LEDs are contained in a weather-proof transparent "bulb" housing, you don't have to worry about weather effects in sheltered but damp landscape lighting applications. You also won't ruin the LED bulbs by touching them when you install them (versus the original halogens which needed me to wear gloves so my finger tip skin oil wouldn't otherwise cause premature halogen bulb failure). I've been running these now for a few months with ZERO issues. If something changes over the winter season or next summer, I'll be sure to update this review. If you don't see any additional entries, you can be confident, I am having no issues. Fiat Lux!

Easy to Install - More Robust Fixture
We have a large number of Kichler low voltage path lighting fixtures in our front and back yards. Previous cheap "bulb" lights didn't give us sufficient lighting and were seemingly burning out inside a year or so. As part of our overall energy audit, we decided to switch all indoor and outdoor lighting to LED, path lighting included. Did some research and found these SKUs from SRRB on Amazon. They were easy to install, provide more lighting, and although minimal cost saving because of the low voltage nature of these lights, I know these are helping in some small way. None have burned out. Have recommended these to friends who've bought them as well. Good product, works as expected, easy to install. I'll buy again if needed.

excellent replacement bulbs for yard fixtures using Malibu-style bulbs
replaced Malibu-style higher wattage bulbs (7 watts) with these 2.5W LEDs. they are amazing and great with their bright light output. easy installation of swapping out the old filament bulbs with these LEDs. one of the pathway lights was finicky with the Malibu-style bulbs but worked immediately with these LEDs that have solid bases for a firmer connection. cannot comment on longevity yet since they have been on for only 3 weeks. our pathway is much brighter now and allowed us to continue to use the old yard light fixtures for a while longer without replacing them with LED lights. would recommend.

Great landscape light replacement LED
These replacement LEDs are nice and bright. They work great in my pathway lights. I like them a lot. I hope they last longer than the regular bulbs I was using. So far so good.

Great upgrade for any yard lighting system
When I moved into my current home, the backyard had existing Malibu light set up. They were a calming dim yellow but didnโt really light up much area. I found these LED bulbs and tried one to see how it looked. It seemed to be 4x the brightness of the original and a bit whiter. I loved it so I bought 12 more and replaced all of the bulbs. Now the backyard is far better illuminated. There run way cooler that the normal bulbs. These bulbs look cool and feel week made. They filled the need perfectly.

Fits 2018 Subaru Forester Cargo Light
Used this to upgrade my 2018 Subaru Foresters unusably dim 25 lumen cargo light. It is significanlty brighter, and doesn't contrast with the rest of the incandescent lights at all. It appears to be close to a 40w halogen in brightness and color. Packaging states it has a CRI of 80, which isn't great but is acceptable. I would say the claims made by the manufacturer are pretty realistic. Manufacturer says it is not recommended for automotive use due to size, so i measured the fixture before buying. It fits the cargo area fixture with plenty of space to spare (seems like subaru expected people to replace this bulb...). We will see how well it holds up to vibration over time, but i've got 3 more spares just in case!

Bright bulbs, but burn out in about one year.
I bought 4 of the 2.5w Warm White LED bulbs to replace incandescent bulbs in a large, enclosed back-lit address number sign that is on for 5 hours/day at night (a total of 1825 hours/year) . They worked great and were really bright. But then one bulb burned out in less than a year and another one burned out in 14 months. The product information states "with lifespan of 30,000 hoursโ25 times longer life than incandescent bulbs. After a year of use, LEDs will pay for themselves. Traditional halogen or filament bulbs frequently burn out becoming costly and time consuming to replace." This product description is clearly misleading as I am not getting anywhere close to this lifespan. I wish I could recommend these but they have insufficient lifespan to be real replacements for incandescent bulbs. This is confirmed by other reviewers.
