Sertodo Copper Moscow Mule Mug | Single, 18 oz Capacity | Copper Handle | 100% Pure Copper, Heavy Gauge, Hand Hammered

I bought these as a present. They are beautifully made and very sturdy. The 12oz was smaller than I thought it would be but when we made drinks, the sizing was perfect. Also, the copper kept the drinks cold and they tasted delicious.

Terrific addition to anyone's bar collection. They are a bit expensive, but well crafted, and a statement maker. Adds that touch of class to any drink poured into them. Lifetime mugs that are as good as it gets. There is something about having this mug in your hands. The hammered copper is very special indeed. I bought 8 of them and I am SO glad I did. Google Sertodo and they have some instructional videos of how to maintain these quality mugs to look like new, serving after serving. I do not give 5 stars unless it is well earned. This product earned it!

I have been addicted to Russian Mules as of late and really wanted some copper cups for a home set up (also bought Vodka, ginger beers, orange bitters, etc.). This came up on a lightning deal and I went for it. I couldn't be happier. The box arrived with a note about Sertodo and the cups were each individually wrapped with obvious care. After a gentle wash (wash by hand with soap and water (and dry immediately)), I put them to use. WOW. The detailing is superb. These are hand-crafted products (they state their workshops are in Austin, TX and in Mexico) of superb quality. If you try to find imperfections, you simply won't. These are stunning. My mother-in-law bought some copper water glasses from Napa Style and I was shocked that these blow hers away (and she spent much more on them). After a few mules, she finally admitted to it. :)

I bought the 12 oz mugs after searching for a while. Requirements were for a pure exposed copper interior (required for proper flavor) and adequate thickness for a good weight in the hand. These mugs met both requirements and are beautiful. Claims by others of "heavy duty" mean nothing. Using a Starrett (Made in USA) ball micrometer, these measured 0.027" - 0.029" depending on the hammer marks. That's 22 gauge in copper. Lacquered exterior will keep them looking good, bare interior will require proper hand washing and immediate drying, but ya gotta have it for a proper Moscow Mule. Good news is that because the interior is bare copper, if you let it tarnish a little too much, light weight Scotch Brite will restore everything.

I went with these because of the excellent reviews, so glad I did. These are beautiful mugs. I saw others that were cheaper, but even in the photos did not compare. I chose the smaller mugs hoping they would be big enough & they are perfect for me, about the height of a standard coffee mug, but wider at the top, making the right size drink for me. I like these smaller ones because the handles are copper. These are hand crafted with pride & look exactly as pictured.

Excellent quality

I was really disappointed as the Cups look great but after using them only 5 times the Cooper taste just took over. The erosion of the Cooper makes these Cups useless. But if You want them just for Show they’re excellent.

I have been looking for copper cups for so long. I am so thankful I did research before ordering. These mugs are wonderful and I am so happy with the quality of them. They are definitely worth spending the money on them. My husband and his buddies were out west and tried Moscow mules at a bar for the first time. They fell in love with them. When they got home they bought some 'fake' copper mugs to make them. They kept saying that they just didn't taste quite right. I decided to do some research on this Moscow mule that I have never heard of before. Then started researching copper companies. I bought these mugs for them for Christmas and the first thing they said when they made a Moscow mule in them was "Yes, that's how it's supposed to taste!" Thanks Sertodo!
