The color was very pretty, but there was no pigment transfer after the first use.

Color is pretty but it stayed on for less than an hour. Not a lip stain as advertised. Covergirl lip stain last all day until you take it off with makeup remover. Disappointed.

At the time of writing this review, it is being sold for $17.00.I am so so glad that stains are coming back into fashion! They're truly the best way to achieve a long lasting color on the lips. And this one is no exception.My only complaint is the format of this stain - the felt tip pen can be hard to use - you need to shake it a couple of times to cover your entire lip. I will note that this does not irritate my sensitive skin at ALL, it is a very gentle formula.The color payoff is fantastic. It is a beautiful cool toned berry color and if you use more than one layer the color goes even deeper.At the price, it is a bit higher than most stains, but it is also a truly vegan and cruelty free product that works very well. I do think it is a good value for the price - this is a high quality product. I want to get it in Popular next!

I really love this color, and the stain itself works pretty well. I always have mixed feelings about stains because they tend to wear off unevenly, and I don't find that very flattering. This happens to me with all stains, though. I think if this was your first layer of color, and you had a lipstick on top, you'd get better longevity, but this formula doesn't mix well with all lipstick formulas. One day I tried it and it pilled up with the other lip product.
