Twinkies, Original, 2.7 Ounce, 6 Count

A twinkie is a twinkie is a twinkie, You can't go wrong with the twinkie..When The Twinkies came back, I ran to the store and bought a few boxes, and said " Oh Twinkie, why did you leave me, and oh how I longed for the return of your sweet and delicious ever so soft, fluffy crust, with your delicious cream filled center. Please never leave me again. I have to say, to make sure people understand, as other reviews have said " these are not like the original Twinkies", but they are still Twinkies and taste good. If you are looking, for the light and fluffy type of twinkie that is sold, then go to a grocery store and pick up the plain 10 pack ( not the two pack) or even purchase the plain ten pack off Amazon. These 2 packs do not have the same light and fluffy outside as the regular ten packs.. I am not sure what the difference is between the two, or why they are different but they are.. As I said they are still good, and I would definitely order them again, but do except the crust to be a little different. Awesome, Twinkies Rock!

awesome, always wanted to try a twinkie, they actually look really fresh (like right out the factory fresh lol) i can see why twinkies are popular. Just dont go overboard!

Who doesn't love these things? Once in awhile you really want something junky to eat and it's really hard to beat Twinkies. I made a birthday cake and didn't have enough frosting for the edges, so I stuck these puppies around it and wow, was it ever the hit!

I purchased these to have when I wake up in the middle of the night and feel like the need for a snack. The only problem with them is I only got to eat one package..........the other ones just disappeared. I was going to contact Amazon and voice a complaint about the "magical disappearing Twinkies" when my other half suggested we might have a mouse...........mouse?............naaaaaaaaaa, rat maybe.......lol...........next time, I order two boxes and hide one.

Is not the same flavor and texture

They don't taste as good as they did when I was young, but my kids don't know that so they liked them. The cake is much denser than it used to be. The inside fluff part - whatever that is - seems to be about the same. Even thought they are different than I remember, I still liked them. I did not like that a lot of the cake stuck to the cardboard they sit on. I don't remember them being so sticky, but that just might be a flaw in my memory and they have always been like that.

Pretty good. Price seems good and the twinkies arrived in good condition. They aren't as spongey/soft as I remember but I may be remembering incorrectly as I haven't had them in several years. Good for snacking. Had at least a year of shelf life left.
