Buy it. Skip the reviews. I did all of that for you
On some real ish, As a person who heavily reviews every product I buy over $100. this one Was worth every penny. A great sturdy, and spacious yet slim treadmill. Overall 10/10. I set this up in my basement so I would say unboxed wherever you are going to keep it. The functions were very easy to understand. No manual needed. The speed is perfect. Incline is amazing. No weird smells everything clean and bagged properly. The set up was very easy. I would say watch the set up video instead of using the book.

SUPER EASY to assemble and use. VERY STURDY. LOVE IT!
If you are afraid to purchase a treadmill because you're worried about how tricky some of them are to assemble, this is the one for you! I kept dragging my feet because when my husband and I put anything together, we end up fighting (LOL!). This was SO simple. A couple screws with washers to hold the arms upright, then a quick plug in of the console, then a couple screws to hold the console in place. DONE! THINGS I LOVE: This is a very simple treadmill. It's not reliant on iFit or any other app. It's for people who just want to get on it and walk/run. You just turn it on and go. I love that it's quiet. Love that you can simply press a button for the MPH or incline you want. I love that you can scroll between whole numbers (for speed and incline) with the +/- buttons on the hand rails. Love the light up display that show you miles, laps, calories burned, speed, incline etc. Love that it feels so sturdy. I hear zero creeks or rattles. The belt moves really smoothly and I've notice NO slippage. The speed changes smoothly. It stops smoothly (no abrupt stop). [For reference, I am not a long-distance runner or runner of any sort. Just a walker/jogger] I was worried the belt would be too narrow and short as it's smaller by an inch in width and 3" in length from my previous treadmill (RIP), but it's fine for me (a 5'6" woman). In short, I LOVE THIS THING! The only cons: Sadly the treadmill arrived with a piece cracked out of the plastic step area that runs along side the belt. It looks kinda bad, but I patched it with a spare piece of plastic so my running shoe won't catch on it if I'm too far to the side. Also, there was an area where the packaging strap ripped into the cardboard box and ground some of the paint off one of the upright bars. Both are cosmetic issues and don't affect the way the treadmill functions. If I could change one thing: It would be the width between the hand holds. Maybe I'm just used to my wider treadmill, but when I swing my arms, I've hit my hands on the handles a number of times. It may just be that I have to get used to this narrower set up. Otherwise, I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS TREADMILL! For the price, IT IS GREAT! Will try to report back in 6 months to update.

Great treadmill-Need 2 people for some of installation
I was going to buy a more expensive one but glad I read the reviews on this one. Just like everyone states, this is a good quality treadmill, very easy to install, even better the instructions were easy to follow! I'd like to emphasize you need at least 2 people to get it out of the box-that was the hardest thing to do. It's packed wonderfully for protecting the treadmill, but the treadmill is 145lb+ and a dead weight. And a extra hand to mount the display, because you have to connect the cords coming out of the display and the frame before you can slide the display into place-one person can not hold the display and the connect the cords at the same time. The wheels work great on a rug, it's super easy to fold up and extend out. I was able to use the book holder that I use on my bike-you'll need a 9x11x2 size. And love the cup holders too! Very happy with the controls, yes, it takes a bit to get it going plus the controls on the railing are too easy to keep hitting while gripping the railing but just got to get used to it. Very easy to adjust the controls & get a great workout. No rocking or feeling of shakes from the treadmill even when I run. And its quiet! It's almost a year now and I still love this treadmill. When I've had questions on operational things, the service dept is quick to respond and solved all my issues mostly due to me not reading the manual.

Damn good treadmill for the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?: My wife and I are pretty amazed with this product. I'm 6'3 230 pounds and I have more than enough leg room to walk easily on this, probably even a jog. Quality is good and the assembly was straight forward and fast. We love the it's not some massive commerical sized treadmill in our small workout room, it's compact but large enough to do what you need it to do without taking up extra space for no reason. Some ideas on how to improve: move the hand sensors further away from the hand speed/incline controls, it's too easy to touch the controls accidentally while your hands on on the sensors. I would also add adjustable height to the arms/handles so taller people can more comfortable grab the handles. Also, I would include a device that allows you to easily add oil under the pad. This is super challenging to get something under there to dispense the oil under that tight tread.

Good Treadmill, but Customer Service is TERRIBLE! UPDATE!!!!
I did quite a bit of research for a new treadmill, and TheRun consistently ranked as one of the best. The assembly went quite well, and I was excited to put it to use immediately. I logged a quick 2 miles and felt that I received a great product. The next day, when I turned on the power, I heard the chirps, and the screen showed only the time of day and the odometer. I could not get the motor to engage, and I could not get any other functions to work. I sent TheRun Customer Service an email on the 9th of Feb. to discuss the issues with the treadmill and received an immediate response within hours of submission. Customer Service said that a representative would contact me within 48 hours to resolve my issues. Well, it's been 7 days and not a word, an email, or a call. I sent another email, and I still have not heard a word. Now I'm glad that I purchased a protection plan to get this treadmill working. Don't get me wrong, I like the treadmill, but the customer support is terrible. UPDATE! I didn't realize the reason for the lack of communication was due to the Chinese New Year, thus everyone was out of the office. Zora from THERUN reached out to me to rectify my dissatisfaction. After a few back-and-forth emails, Zora generously offered to send a brand new treadmill, and within a few days, it arrived. Needless to say, I'm very happy, and the treadmill works flawlessly! Thanks Zora!!

Perfect Buy
This treadmill has been a much appreciative surprise! I’m not a runner or marathoner - just someone looking to simulate hiking and the occasional sprint interval. No doubt this hits the mark for me. I purchased this unit in May 2025 and it’s now September 2025 and I’m loving it. The incline range is perfect and packs a punch on 14%. The speed is also a nice range as well and I feel cooked when I do sprint intervals. Both of these values you can control on the control board and on the handles of the rails. The topic of noise level when using the machine - it’s not silent and when I’m using it my partner can hear from the next room for sure. Overall though, I’d say it’s still relatively quiet. I haven’t experienced any belt slippage when sprinting and it’s been a smooth experience so far. Assembling the treadmill was surprisingly easy - I’m no Bob the Builder but I was able to set it up within 20 minutes? It’s decently easy to manuever when using the wheels - takes a little “oomph” to rock it backward and get it going in the direction you want to place it. One thing to remember - open the package inside the room you want to keep it in! lol I was too excited and assembled it in my living room - forgetting I have very narrow hallway clearance and that was another issue. Oops. :) Overall I’m happy with this treadmill.

The treadmill's top-notch build quality and materials assure me of its long-term durability and reliability. The user-friendly console is a standout feature, offering a variety of preloaded workout options. The 7" LCD display provides essential workout data like time, distance, speed, calories burned, and heart rate, which helps me track my progress effectively. Weighing in at around 120 pounds, I've been using this incline treadmill for an hour each day to maintain my slim figure, and the auto incline function has been a fantastic way to intensify my calorie-burning sessions. What's even more delightful is that my workout routine has become a daily habit, and I'm loving every moment of it. It has truly earned its five-star rating by enhancing my fitness journey and making every workout an enjoyable experience

Quality Treadmill; Easy Assembly; Packaging Damaged in Shipment
Update: We've used the treadmill for a few weeks now. It is easy to operate. It feels well built and solid. Keep in mind that at 79 and 77 we're at the low end of the usage scale. Feels like a good investment for our health. Original Review: When the UPS driver dropped off the package I was worried. Multiple large tears in the package and pieces of the treadmill were sticking out. BUT - I was surprised that the treadmill was in great shape - nary a scratch. I'm 79 so getting a 100-plus pound treadmill to our basement was a challenge, but I managed it with some creativity. It is slightly wider than most 28" doors so that took a little maneuvering to get it through. I did the assembly by myself. It was straight forward and did not require any extra tools. All of the parts and accessories feel heavy duty and like they will last. The power cord was a bit short for my preferred location, but I moved it to get access to an outlet. Haven't tried all of the bells and whistles on it, but basic use is easy and intuitive. Was pleasantly surprised that by calling them they extended the warranty for another year and are sending me a mat to put under the treadmill. (If I had mentioned that in the listing I wouldn't have purchased a separate mat when I ordered the treadmill.).
