The Gold Standard and a Fantastic Step Up From Citadel
If you have been using Citadel plastic glue and are looking for something that offers more control and a cleaner finish then Tamiya Extra Thin is a total game changer. While Citadel glue is great for general assembly it can sometimes be a bit gloopy and hard to control. This Tamiya cement however is a fantastic alternative that takes your builds to the next level. The 40ml square bottle is incredibly stable on the desk and the fine applicator brush built into the cap makes those bulky plastic nozzles feel like a thing of the past. The real magic here is the ultra low viscosity and capillary action. Instead of applying a bead of glue and hoping it stays put you can dry fit your parts together first then touch the brush to the seam and watch as the glue instantly sucks into the joint. It works by slightly melting the plastic to create a welded bond that is incredibly strong. Because it is so thin it evaporates quickly which significantly reduces the risk of accidental fingerprints or messy overflow that can ruin fine detail. The final result is a much cleaner build with far less cleanup or sanding required. It is perfect for everything from delicate infantry models to large scale vehicles where you want seamless joins. For any hobbyist who wants professional results without the mess of thicker adhesives this is an essential upgrade for your workbench. It is a hobby staple that truly lives up to the hype.

Best glue I've used for building miniatures
The best liquid cement I've used for building miniatures. The adhesion is excellent, and the built-in brush applicator makes application precise and easy. I find this far better than Citadel's alternative.Would highly recommend for anyone building Warhammer or other plastic miniatures. Great value for money.

great for warhammer
amazing glue for warhammer as it fuses the plastic together into a really strong bond, thin so it can wick into small gaps. built a tyranid combat patrol with it and it's barely made a dent in how much is in the bottle so this will last forever. Seeing that it melts the plastic to form the bond it's also great at filling in tiny gaps left between parts, just put a little on the crease and work the brush over the gap and the plastic slightly liquifies and fills the gap.

Good viscosity
Great product for years now. I’ve always wondered why then never made longer bristles or change the bottle shape as you always struggle to get the very bottom.

Great usability
High quality brush and glue. Used one for sprue goo which is incredible with this liquid and the rest are amazing at binding models

The Only Thing Holding My Life Together
I bought this to glue plastic models together, but at this point I’m convinced it could repair broken dreams too.The stuff is brilliant. Touch the brush to the seam and it magically disappears into the joint like it’s got a degree in engineering. No mess, no giant blobs of glue, just clean joins that make me look far more skilled than I actually am.Be warned though—this glue works so well you’ll spend more time admiring your perfectly glued model than actually finishing it.Five stars. The only thing it hasn’t managed to stick together is my willpower to stop buying more model kits.

It's the best plastic glue
If you ask almost any group of hobbyists about plastic glue, you'll probably get recommended this stuff for good reason. It's not as bad for fumes as some of the stronger stuff, and it won't melt details too badly if a little goes astray, but it will make a strong bond in seconds, and can even be used to smooth out joins and the like. It comes in a sturdy little glass pot that's thankfully hard to knock over, and with a little brush in the cap that makes it easy to apply. Obviously, try not to breathe in the fumes too much, and use it somewhere with decent ventilation if you can, or it may start to irritate your eyes and sinuses. If you get a bit on your hands, go wash them. Basically, be sensible and you'll be fine! One pot will probably last most people years; I've used mine for the entire Horus Heresy Age of Darkness box (yes, including the big Spartan tank), plus a rhino and three jetbikes, the entire 40k Leviathan box, a box of Hellblasters and a box of Intercessors, several Underworlds Warbands, a vanguard box of Daughters of Khaine, other random stuff and I'm still only just over halfway through it! So you'll almost certainly get your money's worth!

The perfect glue for modelling, thin, but quick setting
I use this for tabletop wargame modelling, both figures and vehicles (Bolt Action, Warhammer sort of thing.) It's really a plastic cement so will only work with those sort of plastics. It won't glue resin or metal. For this task it's amazing though. It's really thin, very precise with the brush and grips faster than standard cements like Games workshops version which is really helpful when you are working with tiny miniatures and fiddly parts. You can get a piece in place, let it grip, make fine adjustments and then because the glue is so thin even drop more into any seam or joint by capillary action of you need/want to. Wouldn't use anything else.Only thing to be aware of is to keep the top on because it will evaporate and it does give of mild spirit type fumes, so may not be suitable for young children to use.

Tamiya extra thin cement? GOOOOOD :D
This tightly sealed container has a long shelf life, I've had a bottle of it sit for two years and still be good to use. Easy to use, put some on plastic piece and press against another piece. Reapply more to the joint with pressure to firmly affix the parts. There is enough in this bottle to assemble many miniatures, ~2k pts Warhammer 40k. Compared to the citadel brand this costs less and has more. Dries and cures quickly while still having a decent working time.Biggest con:The smell. The container when open will be pungent with the acetone scent. Use in a ventilated area and screw brush cap back on when not actively gluing to help with the smell. If the smell is a major deterrant for you look into a company that sells a straw applicator like Testors or Citadel. These will contain the smell much better but I have had difficulty with the glue flowing too quickly and being uncontrollable with these bottles.
