How do you load the trap I have bought two which were delivered with no instructions

These traps are the best we have had. Having used quite a few other types these have worked very well. The first trap after being set got one blighter with in an hour of having been set. The traps are very easy to set. If you put them flat on the ground you can close them against the spring with one booted foot ! You must though identify the mole run. This best done by using a thin steel rod working between active two mole hills and inserting the rod into the ground feeling for the loss of resistance as you pierce a tunnel. At this point use a sharp spade and remove a shoebox sized turf. Then dig down to the tunnel and excavate a little lower than the the tunnel bottom. Set the trap making sure you only put back into the tunnel soft earth with no stones. Then cover the hole with a large seed tray or similar that will be completely light proof. Then wait ! You may find this could take up to three days to go off. Not always will you be successful. We have caught five already and are starting again on other active areas. Good luck and happy hunting.
