Houseplant Potting Mix: Fertilized, Perlite Soil for Indoor Gardening, Designed to Be Less Prone to Gnats

I recently acquired some succulents and needed some soil that will help them continue to grow and flourish. The soil works great. It did not have a strong odor and it was easy to use.

Potting soil was perfect amount for small pot of English Lavender. Absorbs water well. Good mixture.

This is basically peat moss, it wasnt exactly what I expected, but it works. It does stay a little more wet than I think succulents like but I added a little perilite and that worked perfect. Besides that, miracle grow is a big brand so you’re less likely to get lots of gnats or poor quality. Overall: -could use some perilite -stays a little more wet than I would prefer, deep water on day one, still wet an inch down 4 days later. Watering every 1-1.5 weeks. -have not gotten any gnats so far -decent price for what you get if you don’t want to make your own If you are new to houseplants this is perfect, I would just add a cup of perilite to the whole bag. But even if you don’t add it, as long as you’re waiting for it to be all the way dry before watering again, your succulents will do well in this soil.

Wife has been working with a lot of succulents lately and these sacks of solid has can in handy.

I just started making terrariums as a hobby. A little goes a long way and my succulents are thriving. Will buy more.
