These.Are.Awesome.
I'm so impressed with these headphones for the price. I'd never have given anything Lindy branded a chance, had I not seen the 5 star review of these from What Hi-Fi. However, I'm so glad I did, as I nearly spent ยฃ300 on a pair of Bose QC35's, when really I just needed to block out office chatter at work. Saying they're "good for the price" is actually doing them a total disservice, as I think I would still consider these very good at twice the price. I very nearly got suckered into a pair of AKG's at ยฃ160 until I read a detailed negative buyer review from somebody who'd clearly spent some time with them. I'm very glad I got this Lindy pair instead at half the price. I've been wearing these during the day at work for 3 days now and haven't felt the need to take them off for any reason. The ANC blocks out constant background noise such as the whirring of fans in nearby computers. The sound isolation is good enough to reduce office chatter and general noises to a level where it is unnoticeable when music is played at a low volume. Music can be appreciated at a very low volume as the sound quality is so good. Pros: Price, comfort, sound quality, battery life. Cons: If I were to be super-critical, I'd say: 1. The rotary volume control feels a little cheap. 2. The USB socket is angled towards the front when worn the correct way round (left ear / right ear), so the USB lead dangles in front of your face if you try to use them while on charge (I got around this by wearing them the wrong way round while on charge). 3. There's no audible warning when the battery is about to run out. I've just been listening to dance music, then suddenly they cut out and everyone in the office was listening to dance music being played via my computer's tinny internal speaker until I realised what had happened. I'll put them on charge towards the end of the day when I put them down in future. None of these cons are enough to dissuade me from what are an excellent pair of headphones. The best pair I've ever owned and an unexpectedly excellent purchase.

Genuinely surprised by how good these are!
Having bought Lindy cabling for years and having been given a ยฃ50 voucher to put towards something I decided to look at wireless headphones and these popped up. First up I love how there's loads of accessories included so you don't have to fart around trying to find where to buy x, y, z. Very thankful of that. Second up these work really nicely considering how 'cheap' they are. Once paired any other time you switch them on they'll pair in a second or two where some bluetooth devices I've used sit for ages and eventually don't connect (Hi Sennheiser!). I'll admit my previous experiences with wireless stuff has been the reason I've tried to avoid it, these have kinda changed my mind a bit. The option of using them in the various modes is great so if you choose to plug them into something you can just use them as normal headphones. You can use them wired with noise cancelling and the battery lasts ages. Using them in full wireless, noise cancelling mode the battery still lasts a good length of time, I bought them to use on a flight and the battery life full wireless and noise cancelling covers that easily. Sound in non-cancelling mode is a little muted, like you're listening through a woolly hat but you don't buy them to use as normal headphones, that's just another nice little feature. Once the noise cancelling switch is flipped on they actually sound pretty decent again considering the price of them, top end is good, they have a nice amount of low end and it isn't blown out like some headphones. I mostly use them wandering around the house, making dinner, cleaning etc so I don't have to put the stereo on. For the money these are a pretty great buy, I'm not sure I can fault them on anything other than the sound when the noise cancelling is turned off but that means you just turn it on and fix your 'problem' instantly.

Bluetooth mic quality 1/5, everything else 5/5
In summary - this is an excellent, comfortable pair of Bluetooth headphones, but you should avoid it if you intend to actually use the mic for anything, or use an external mic instead. Noise cancellation - the headphones form a seal around your ears, blocking out almost all external noises. In addition to this with ANC (active noise cancelling) turned on, the headphones produce a white noise which also blocks out some sounds. I also wear these headphones with glasses and they're still very comfortable. The glasses slide in near the top of the cushiony seal, and don't hurt at all. The only pain I notice is some very slight pressure on my ears after extended use, but I've gotten used to this. Battery life - the battery lasts for roughly 2 days from a full charge. It seems to charge quite fast, although you should note you can't use the headphones while they're charging. The headphones start to make a very annoying bleeping noise at about 10-15% charge which it doesn't seem can be disabled, meaning they in effect have a slightly lower battery life. A very useful tool for battery life is that your PC/mobile can tell you roughly how much battery life is left. I've been able to use this with Windows 10 and an Android phone, but not Windows 8.1. Sound quality - the audio output is excellent, both on Bluetooth and wired. However, you cannot use it for high quality output and input at the same time, unless you want awful sound quality, both for input and output. In effect this is a pair of headphones for audio output, which technically has a mic, but you should really use an external mic instead. Connectivity - pairing the headphones to a new device is quite quick and should only need to be done once per device. Sometimes in order to connect the device will need to be switched off and on again, or the device's Bluetooth will need to be disabled then enabled. Once it's connected, its range seems to be quite far. It usually cuts out at about 10 metres in testing. I haven't noticed much audio latency. If you have issues with wireless connectivity, there's also a 3.5mm jack, and they come with a somewhat small 3.5mm male-to-male cable. They can be connected to mobile devices, tablets and computers, provided they all have Bluetooth connectivity, which is very convenient, as opposed to needing two different pairs of headphones. Durability - they feel sturdy, though I can only comment based on 2 months' worth of use. The materials seem to be decent quality, and I can't really notice any major flaws which would result in it snapping. I'll update this review at a later date if they do snap (purchased in September 2020, reviewed in November 2020). They arrive with a sturdy box for safe transport or storing them long-term. Value for money - the headphones cost ยฃ73.98 at the time, which seems good value for headphones with ANC. It seems to be a very good mid-tier product at that price.

Brilliant overall headphones
These are one of my best purchases of the past few years. I still use them daily, can spend about an hour on my commute using them. I only need to charge them up once a week, which is wonderful. If I made this review a few weeks ago, I would've complained as my right ear pad had ripped and has exposed the padding. I've just found that you can buy replacement pads for around ยฃ8 and they're stupidly easy to replace too, just pull them out and put the new one back in. I'm not sure how this compares to other similar priced headphones, but I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't happen on a pair of beats or whatever. The sound quality competes with my wired stereo headphones, but not quite got that overall depth. Still brilliant for the price. I don't really rate the noise cancellation function, it rather expectedly, muddies the sound quality. I think without this function works just fine. If you're after a strong paid of headphones that are tough, come with a great protection case, have good battery life and sound brilliant, these are absolutely a no-brainer. I will probably update this review when/if my pair ever die off as I will be buying these headphones again!

Satisfied overall
Here's my main thoughts after having these for a couple weeks now: - Sound quality is pretty good. Nothing to write home about but what you'd expect I guess. - Noise cancelling isn't anything special. For starters, these headphones don't keep the noise within your ears, so at any high volumes (for music, tv etc.) anyone around you is going to hear it. The noise cancelling itself just makes the volume higher as far as I can tell. It does work pretty well for blocking out outside noise though, to a level where you may hear a few outside noises but it won't be noticeable or annoying. - Battery seems really good. I haven't been constantly using them but I literally haven't charged these since taking them out the box and they're still fine two weeks later. - Comfort isn't great. I have a fairly big head and these can get somewhat uncomfortable quite quickly. They don't extend that much so the top part can start digging into my head if I want them to be fully over my ears. - The buttons are good. I love the range of buttons. That was one of the main appeals, you can literally do everything on the headphones; volume up-down buttons and a separate volume slider, skip track forward or back, pause, noise cancelling, accept calls. The buttons don't stick out, which is annoying when you're tryna use them on your head, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. - Bluetooth connection: they connect immediately when you turn them on which is very nice. Other people have mentioned how there's no button to disconnect the Bluetooth on the headphones, so in theory when you turn them on they might connect to the last connected device (presuming it is on and has Bluetooth on) and you'd have to go find the device and disconnect. This hasn't happened to me at all and I can't imagine it realistically being an issue outside of very specific scenarios. Overall happy with these. The comfort is the only real issue I have, so if you need something really comfortable and you have a big head you might want to steer away from these. Otherwise they're a good pair of headphones

Great sound and Noise cancelling, buy them, but there are serious technical flaws to be aware of.
These headphones sound great, are comfortable and the noise cancelling is good. They hold onto your head well enough for cycling. I don't jog, so don't know about that, but they kill a lot of wind noise when cycling. THE DESIGN FLAWS: The noise cancelling MUST be on all the time to sound good. There is a MASSIVE treble cut when off. Don't let this put you off, they sound really REALLY good for the money when NC is on. The more serious one is this: The noise cancelling is a stand alone circuit. If accidentally left on, it will drain the battery too low to ever re-charge. I got lucky.. after a few hours left to rest, the battery recovered enough volts to (finally) begin a charge. If left to go completely flat, the charger won't ever 'see' the battery and won't ever start a charge. The battery is NOT accessible or replaceable. Basically..don't ever leave the blue light on, or you are done! -Do not buy these if you are forgetful! If they do die though, they will still work as passive /wired headphones. -I don't know if mine are just faulty, but this is a well known problem with many intelligent battery chargers. -The trick with those is to put a good battery in parallel with the flat one for a few seconds, but you can't access the battery on these!!

save some more and get better ones. I have a set of old Bose ...
I do not know how these got 5 star What HiFi review..... You get what you pay for, save some more and get better ones. I have a set of old Bose QC25 headphones which I was hoping to replace with these but doing a back to back compassion it showed how bad these were. I even compared to my Taotronics ยฃ20 bluetooth earphones. Positives Great price for the features Sound quality is okay, no match for ยฃ20 earphones Headphone Noise Cancellation works sort of. Cons Comfort - Makes my ears ache after only a couple of minutes as the cushions are too soft and there is no space for your ears inside the headphones. The Bose headphones don't touch your ears, hence the name over ear headphones. These are more on ear headphones. Now sound quality - Bass and mid range is muddy and there is hardly any sound stage, i was comparing them back to back with the Bose and cheap Bluetooth headphones and both of them were better. Playing George Ezra you can definitely hear the difference in his low tonal voice. Not saying its not listenable but definitely not that clear. Maybe I have a bad headphone. Noise cancelling - Mine was temperamental, it would hiss and even sometimes play a bassy deep throb which was very off putting. Build Quality - Poor, with unfinished rough bits of plastic evident and also the controls feel very week and plasticy. I don't think these will last long. These have now been sent back. You get what you pay for, save some more money and get a second hand pair of Bose headphones.

Great value for money
I bought these for situations where I need wireless - listening in bed, gardening. My comparison is with my beloved Bose Quietcomfort 25 noise cancelling wired headphones (three times as expensive). I listen almost exclusively to classical music. These are excellent for the price. They come in a well designed and nice case. I found them easy to set up (Bluetooth on both a windows 10 tablet and iPhone - you do have to re-register them when you switch devices and don't try that with the one that it is connected to nearby as I did at first). The noise cancelling works well. Not as effective here as the Bose which achieves surreal levels of quiet (i have tried a direct contrast with my washing machine on noisy cycle and on a train) but very effective, particularly when the music is playing. The phones were a little tight on my head at first but they have worn in after a few days use. The Bluetooth works at a reasonable distance; this depends on the device. I find the connection with my tablet breaks up only a few feet away but the iPhone stays connected about twice as far. Sound quality: clear and attractive middle sound, very good playing soloist, small ensemble. Excellent stereo separation. I particularly like having a volume control on the phones. This makes them my preferred choice on the iPhone (the Bose have no volume control and the iPhone is very volume restricted even with volume restriction turned off!). There are some price effects: the stereo is a little one dimensional, at very high volume with full orchestra there is slight distortion. But the sound is enjoyable to listen to: for the price, very good indeed.
