4 Pack Dinosaurs Puzzles

Very nicely made

I bought 3 packages of these puzzles, one for each of my grandchildren's families and 1 to keep for them when they visit me. They are nicely made and the kids love doing them. My experience with Synarry puzzles so far has been very good and recommend them for young children.

I bought these for smart two year old. They do come with pictures of completed puzzle for younger children to match pieces to picture. I’m a retired preschool teacher and recommend this as a thinking/matching exercise for young children. Two year old loves them. They are light weight but sturdy.

My 3-year-old son recently started playing with this 24-piece puzzle, and it’s been such a joy to watch his progress! He began working on simple puzzles about six months ago, and this has been the perfect next step in his puzzle journey. The pieces are just the right size for little hands, and the picture is engaging and colorful enough to keep his attention. It’s been amazing to see his confidence grow as he figures out where each piece goes. The puzzle challenges him just enough without causing frustration. I’d highly recommend it for toddlers who are ready to move beyond the 6–12 piece range and start exploring more complex shapes and patterns. A great learning tool and fun bonding activity!

* The product description includes the following feature that I consider critical for a wooden puzzle that is to be given to a young child: “SAFE AND DURABLE: The wood puzzle is made for toddlers using fine cutting techniques, made of high-quality wood material, and the edges of each piece are carefully polished so that the child can grasp it safely. ….” * For the most part, the above statement is true, with an important caveat (see below). The puzzle pieces are cut from plywood, about 1/8 inch thick. The wood is of reasonable quality, with uniform texture. The back of the plywood has a smooth finish. The graphics are printed on paper, which is glued onto the front of the plywood. The graphics are protected with a clear coat to reduce wear. * The manufacturing process does indeed cause slight rounding of all the edges along the front of the puzzle pieces. The sides of the puzzle pieces are square cut, slightly rough, but not enough to cause any concern. The problem comes with the edges along the back of the puzzle pieces. Here it becomes apparent that the edges of each piece are not carefully polished. The back edges are square cut, with no apparent rounding. * To be fair, none of the pieces had sharp splinters. But many pieces had stringy fibers on the back edges, especially along sharp corners. Left in place, these could lead to splinters. Since the puzzle pieces were otherwise fine, I carefully felt along the edges of each piece with a fingertip to uncover stringy fibers. I then buffed the fibers away with a fingernail file. * Each puzzle has a wooden frame. Again, the edges along the front sides are rounded, as are the corners. The back of the frame is smooth. The sides are slightly rough, but not enough to cause concern. Again, the edges along the back of the frame are not rounded, a bit too sharp for my taste. So I rounded off these edges with an emery board. * My recommendation is that these puzzles should not be given as-is to a young child. Carefully inspect the frames and sand off any sharp edges. Take apart the puzzles; inspect each piece by touch and sand off any stringy fibers. Out of the box, the pieces are tight fitting, so dis-assemble and re-assemble the puzzles several times to loosen the fit. With proper conditioning of the pieces and frames, I would rate this product 5 stars because the product otherwise is as advertised. But since I had to do the conditioning myself, I am knocking off 1 star. I’m not knocking off more stars because the fix was relatively easy.

My son loves these puzzles! They can be pretty challenging for younger kids but my son got the hang of them pretty quick. The best part is that they come in a set, so when he got quicker at them I would dump all of them out at the same time and mix the pieces so he’d have to find which puzzle the piece went to. My one drawback is that I wish the picture was already glued down to the wood. But it’s just sitting on the backdrop. One of the pictures came off the back pretty quick and got crumpled a little. Fairly easy fix with some modge podge though.

These puzzles are perfect for our toddler. The pieces are a great size, not too small, but also still challenging for our 3 year old. They also each come with a picture, which is helpful, and have a nice wooden backboard for each puzzle so they’re easy to store. This has kept our 3 year old busy many nights and mornings and he doesn’t get bored doing the same one over again.

Love these puzzles. They hold up well and the boys love to put them together over and over.

I’ve tried a few wooden puzzles for the kids, these are by far the best. Many of the other kinds are sharp but these have relatively smoother edges. I also like that there’s a photo in the background so it’s easier. It’s also removable for more of a challenge. 5 stars!

Love it. Recommend it. Good quality. I cannot praise it enough. My 3 year old is using it everyday. Quickly jump to more detailed puzzles cos it was too easy for him but he still loves them. Colourful pictures, beautiful in eyes. As an adult Il ike it that natural colours mainly and not flashy or tacky. I am pleased with this products too.
