Catan & Dominion had a baby
This is fun card game with a unique play mechanic that takes from couple other games I played like Catan and Dominion . Players build an engine that yields resources based on a dice roll and keeps everyone engaged even when others take turns like Catan dice rolls. Cards are placed down which represent the game board and just like dominion end game mechanic this is similar. I recommend this game as it is fun to play with friends and family

More of the same in a great way!
More content for variability in the base game. More citizens, monsters, and domains. Also has exhaust events which add a little to gameplay as well. Sometimes I just want more of the same!

Flames and Frost adds new monsters, citizens, and domains to choose from, and all of them are dramatically elemental (the Tundra monsters are a personal favorite so far). If you enjoy the base game, you will surely enjoy this expansion.

More stuff, More fun
I really enjoy the game, so getting more variety is always a good thing. Nothing breaks the game, it just adds more. Can't go wrong.
