Cheap but reliable and really easy to work
I use these for controlling Hornby, Peco and Gaugemaster solenoid point and signal motors on a model railway. They are nice and small so you can fit a lot on a control panel, they have good solid feel which makes them easy to operate correctly and reliably and they come with collars, nuts and so on so that you can secure them to a fascia easily. You have to solder wires on, but that's easy enough. Best thing is they are so much cheaper than Hornby and even Peco switches, several packets of these for less than one of the others. They work great if you want incorporate a CDU in your system to get those points shifted properly, and I find them more reliable, they don't operate if your hand slips. You do need to mount them on a panel or board though. For me, these switches are spot on and so very cost effective, especially if you have lots of points / signals to motorise.
