The Missing Piece

Nice book

I bought this as a birthday present for my colleague who has been looking for herself for a while. she loves this story. although it is very easy to read, the story has a big message!

This is my favourite book. Everytime I can, I give it to someone I like to read ao they find themselves. This is a great boom for all ages.

A kids story with depth, I hope to find more like it

A lovely hardback book which I was really looking forward to reading, as so many of the reviews said it was brilliant. As you keep turning the pages, realizing you are approaching the end of the book and the happy ending you are hoping for (in the book and even more so in your life), doesn't look like it's going to happen ..... you turn the last page, still hopeful. I sat numb and frozen, devastated by the power of this book and the harsh and cruel reality I was left with. I wondered about buying the sequel 'Finding the missing piece', but decided not to. 'Finding' could mean you find it, and raise your hopes. Equally, 'Finding' is not always possible, and there could be too much to lose. A further purchase would be too high a price to pay.

Cute story.

I bought this book because I heard Chris Do talk about it on a podcast. I like how simple but profound the book is. Although it is said to be a children's book, I bought it for myself. I believe everyone should keep one in their library.
