A fantastic set of books by an amazing author. I am currently deep into Mere Christianity and loving every moment. I have already decided 'The Screwtape Letters' is up next. The outer box was slightly damaged on arrival but doesn't both me at all, the books were taken out and put on my bookshelf. So far a well worth purchase and looking forward to getting through them all.

Got delivered as quickly as the more expensive option although I went for free delivery which was great! Great value for life changing books. Only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is the box was slightly damaged in one corner but that's just me knit picking. If you're concidering buying this collection stop thinking and click buy now!

Beautiful, I loved them

Bought as a wedding gift for some good friends knowing that it will give them a lifetime of reading pleasure. The box-set itself looks incredibly smart and the mix of colours on the separate books looks great on any bookshelf. The covers themselves are just a simple pattern in the same colour as its binding which looks classy and understated - tells nothing of the beauty and insight within! I have personally read all of these once upon a time - with my favourite changing all the time as the circumstances in my life change and different issues become more or less present. I recently re-read 'The Problem of Pain' an incredible partial theodicy of Lewis - making a case that the existence of suffering is not enough to reject the existence of God. An age old question and by no means a fully answered one - but Lewis presents eloquent answers that will get the layman thinking and can not be easily swept aside by scholars and intellectuals alike.

Jesus Christ and God told in amazing ways. Uplifts my heart, spirit and will be a blessing to anyone who reads them.

Fantastic set of books

They're veeery thin paperbacks but I guess you get what you pay for. Personally, I’m okay with it because I got them all for a good price and I will take very good care of them of course. I got a book with a tiny dent but it’s okay. Arrived 1 day before expected.

Mir geht es nur um die Bewertung der Edition, zum Inhalt der hier enthaltenen Bücher von C.S.Lewis wird man bei Amazon an anderer Stelle fündig. Wer auf der Suche nach einer günstigen und optisch dennoch sehr anspruchsvollen Ausgabe einer Großteils der Signature Reihe ist (es fehlen A Grief Observed; The Abolition of Man und wenn man so will noch Reflections on the Psalms). Das ist bei einem Kaufpreis von um die 20 Euro aber zu verschmerzen und die Sammlung muss lediglich noch komplettiert werden. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Apart from Narnia, I had never read any of CS Lewis" works - this collection is a wonderful introduction to a lovely and complex man - would make a great gift.
