Oh boy!
Oh boy it works.... I live in a new build 2018 property with oil heating and water and the shower is fitted with a water saving head as standard. first I measured my water flow from my shower on MAXIMUM for ten second into a pot and I marked the level with a dry marker. Then I fitted the green restrictor and ran the test again...i was way below the initial line.. with no loss in pressure. It's a fantastic device and given that it is saving me water in the shower it will be saving me oil too as I won't need to heat as much water. This should be fitted as standard to every new build.. so now with my water saving shower head and flow restrictor (no loss in pressure) I am one happy happy person. Better for my pocket and better for the environment! 6* if it would allow me to award that many!

Works but you may need extra washer
Fitted in seconds. Needed an extra washer for the shower connector and some PTFE thread tape to stop a leak once fitted but no leaks now. Using the 6l/min restrictor which is almost accurate. I’d say for us its closer to 5l/min but it has drastically reduced our hot water usage when showering which will be a good monetary saving going forward.

Shower Flow Reducer
We had our old central heating boiler replaced with a combi-boiler which meant that our mixer shower was fed by hot and cold water at water mains pressure, instead of from the low pressure system fed from the header tank in the loft. The shower mixer control couldn't cope with this excess pressure. Happily, this situation was resolved by fitting the flow reducer between the shower hose and the head. Although there were no fitting instructions with it, it was quite obvious where it should be fitted, and it saved us the cost of fitting a new shower. An excellent product I would recommend to anyone.

Bit of trial and error with working out which reducer ...
Bit of trial and error with working out which reducer to use. There's no directions on what the reduction is depending on the colour of the insert so i had to google it. Hoping it will produce a difference in the amount of water used.

Reduces the flow - saves water 💧
Only installed for a day but works well. Really reduces the flow saving a lot of water. I tried the 4l/m fitting first was a little to low the 6l/m was fine. A lot less powerful shower now but fine for washing and hopefully will bring my water bill down as it shot up 30% after changing my eletric shower for a mira mixer fed from the combi. You don't even notice it once installed and it was very easy to install. I have purchased a second for my upstairs shower.

Does the job with high pressure areas
Perfect, I live in a high pressure area. This has reduced the water flow by over half. Would have got 5 stars except for the lack of instructions or even a web link to instructions

Poor Design
This worked great for around 30 seconds, before the restrictor in the middle popped off and got lost inside the shower head. That was with the default insert that came pre fitted. In the end I was able to use it for its intended purpose by putting another insert in the wrong way, but it was an awkward fit, who knows how long it'll last though. Wouldn't recommend.
