I absolutely love this up converter, a fab addition to an ever growing set up. The new model is awesome

When coupled with the E4000 based NooElec SMArTee SDR & BalUn provides an excellent HF communications receiver for less than £100 when attached to a Raspberry Pi 3B+ or 4B and HD monitor. Sensitivity is comparable to my old Kenwood HF transceiver. I also bought the the HF LNA module but this is effectively redundant as it doesn't improve overall performance (sensitivity to weak signals and S/N ratio) on weaker signals.

Unit works well as described

I may have received a dud unit, but I couldn’t get anything through it. There is 10dB loss through the unit anyway, according to the specs, but even with the amp switched in to circuit I only got artefacts (tones, wideband noise etc) out the other end. I tried it with a Nooelec NESDR Smart v5, and got better results below 65MHz using just the Smart in direct sampling mode without the Ham it Up. Sent back for a refund. Disappointed.

I bought it to extend the range of my Nooelec Software Defined Receiver to frequencies below 25Mhz. I spend a lot of my spare time looking for and listening for strange radio stations etc. There is an unseen world out there to investigate.

once conected to my NEsdr smart Mk4 i was getting lower band tranmittions i wasnt getting before

Excellent works very well

The ham it up arrived with three of the screws that hold the case together hanging out half the screws length and the nut witch hold the two of the three sma conecters were loose. This has been put together shoddy bad workmanship. Just hope it works and the insides are not the same

Despite the Amazon driver throwing the package at my front door like a Frisby and nothing but a amazon paper bag as protection (not a single layer of bubble wrap or cushioning), the unit is working great. My Nooelec RTL-SDR v5 SDR receive seems to be just as sensitive as my FT-2000 on the low bands now, 100% better than without the upconverter below 28MHz. Working great with SDR++, SDRSharp, and SDRUno so far. SDR++ has a preset for ham it up, the others you manually set the offset. Highly recommended.

This device is excellent. Paired with my NESDR Smart dongle it really has improved reception in the lower bands. Very happy!

Aun no le he sacado todo el provecho, pero funciona perfectamente y es un dispositivo imprescindible para recibir desde HF hasta VLF con tu receptor SDR.
