I lost finger print reading functionality but I expected little from a $50 screen to a $300 phone. If you want higher quality then buy a better phone. My screen wouldn't work and now it does.

This screen does work as a replacement for my Samsung A526U, however one hole wasn't exactly cut to fit and I had to shave it down for a board to seat properly, the touchscreen response is lagging, freezes frequently, the coloration and brightness is just slightly off in an annoying way, and most importantly the screen is a bit thicker than the original which makes it protrude from protective cases. Within a month of normal use my new screen replacement is already broken because of its abnormal thickness. I regret buying this screen, and should have spent more on a better quality replacement from the get-go. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

I purchased a replacement screen about 2 years ago and had great luck with it, just as good as the factory screen. Maybe not as vibrant colors and the screen would glow slightly when "blank/sleep/off" instead of just being dark. Overall pretty good, but I dropped the phone and it died on me last month. SO i reordered the same replacement. This new replacement seems ok but occasionally absolutely freaks out as if Im clicking things. Most the time it operates normal and fine, then just phantom touch screen clicks! Well about a month in now and this haunted/possessed screen has also died (phone was dropped just once and had a new otterbox case on it). Screens gone dark, but I know the phones on cause it still vibrates and everything. The first screen was fantastic - 4 stars, this second one is an absolute dud, just a strait up lemon - 1 star.

I will recommend it

Do not buy if you want your phone to function properly. This will make the Fingerprint sensor and the light sensor no longer function. Always on display, auto color/dimming along with manu other features will no longer work. While yes it kinda physically fit the phone functionally it will perform like crap. It will tank your battery from the screen being on full brightness all the time. This is just a cheap fix, a band aid to get the phone running. This will not be any sort of permanent repair. It will break on you within a month or 2. Cases won't work, as the screen is a good 2-4 mm thicker. The holes were not drilled into the frame for the sensors to function. First Pic is the original screen with holes and light coming through second Pic is this new cheaper screen without light coming through. It would be nice if the sellers of these things would say that sensors will not work, that technically it does not fit an A52U 5G as you will lose a good amount of functionality of the phone.

It is a good replacement for the price. Though the screen is quite weak compared to the original. And the adhesive given is sucky. Overall it worked and that's what's most important.

The colors are way off, displaying things in the wrong colors. The fit and finish are definitely high quality, but the functionality is sorely lacking, as there are spots on the touch screen which do not work along with all the colors being wrong, making this an overall poor quality product. I do not recommend.

Installed the screen and it worked for 1 week, now it is purple and blue screen of death.

Took about a month to arrive, and there was a minor dead spot on the screen. But it works just like the old screen, so I guess I'll have to live with it.

Samsung A52 5G... Après remplacement, les couleurs ne sont pas terrible... En plus après 1 heure en ajoutant ma carte sim l'écran s'est mis à faire des fricules... comme pas de poste tv... J'ai retourné sans problème à Amazon... et acheter un Samsung A15 5G 260$...
