Can this be used to fight Zulus?

Of course not good sir. This is a helmet one places on ones head to stop the sun getting into your eyes whilst you take aim. This helmet is excellent keeping in the harsh open dry desert lands. One has spent many a time sipping my tea and not being burnt by the harsh serengeti sun. Well worth a purchase my good sir for queen and country.

Will it help me sing "night boat to cairo"?

Khaki helmets usually did not have regimental badges.possibly a coloured cloth to the side.

Why does it say a max age of 50. I’m 57 and would like one. What will happen if I wear it?

Must confess I failed to see that caveat before I purchased! However I'm 75 and nothing happened to my when I wore it!! It's actually a very good quality Pith Helmet and I quite enjoy wearing it on the odd occasion!
