DEWALT Powerstack 20V MAX Battery Starter Kit, Rechargeable, 5Ah, Lithium Ion (DCBP520C)

Genuine Dewalt power stack kit. Brand new, sealed in the box. Came with a 2025 Powerstack battery. It’s great to have another new 4amp battery charger. I have no issues; this was an excellent deal for the price.

So ,despite the heading, this item gets 5 starts. I bought 2 of these batteries about 2 months ago. They both worked as expected out the box. After 1 charge, I noticed one of the battery's fuel guage stopped working, but the battery was still powering my devices. I was past the 30-day return window with Amazon, so I emailed Dewalt and they immediately got another item shipped to me (even though I told them the battery was still functional despite the fuel guage failure). About another 2 weeks passed and the faulty battery finally died. After doing some research, this apparently is a widely reported issue specific to the 5Ah PowerStack batteries It's a great battery, size is good is you want a step down from the 5Ah XR, and at under $100 on Amazon it's sure worth it. Just keep in mind that it might fail, but Dewalt shouldn't have any issues replacing it if it does. They just asked me for the inv. which I downloadednfrom Amazon, and that was it. So 5 starts because it's a great battery. Though I had issues with 1 of the 2 I bought, it was a hassle-free replacement.

Great battery life and reasonably powerful, as it charges from empty to full in about 2.5hrs, which isnt bad at all for an 5AH battery. These slower chargers are also better for battery longevity. Dead simply to use, just slides right onto the charger and provides charge indicator lights. Build quality seems robust too, which is nice to see these days.

Hi. Used the battery once and had no need to use it for a couple of months. Had other Dewalt batteries and didn't get to use this particular one again for a while like 4 months. When I tried again it had no power so tried to charge it. Different chargers different times without success. The return window with now six months into it is not available. I contacted Dewalt support and turns out this is not an AUTHORIZED dealer and got no help from them neither. Tried the amazon return and this is not returnable item. Charger works.

I have a Dewalt type battery adapter on my Dyson cordless vacuum. I also have the smaller 2 Amp version of the Dewalt Powerstack battery, and that battery powers the Dyson really well. Except it does not last long enough. This 5Ah Powerstack will not power my Dyson vac at all. I think they must have a current limiter inside the battery pack that the 2Ah version does not have. I'm sure it's a great battery in Dewalt tools, but was totally surprised it won't power my Dyson.

I bought two of these newer-style batteries for my DeWalt DCW620B router. I use that router for jointing long boards with a 7/8" diameter compression bit so I wanted a bit of extra life and punch from the battery and DeWalt recommended this newer technology battery for this new router. They are a little pricier but so far I think they are worth it. I've used them for jointing several 8-foot hardwood boards and all is well. Obviously I will know more in a couple years regarding their longevity.

Trying Powerstack out in my older (not brushless) 6.5 in circular saw for a deep cut I can tell that his battery delivers more power and the saw is able to power through the material better. Also, in my 20v blower that I use on my driveway after mowing the battery does a much better job powering the blower at full power before stepping down and dyeing rather quickly as opposed to the older XT 5ah battery that would dwindle down over what felt like the last 25% of the battery to much lower levels, the Powerstack went strong then started to drop off at maybe the last 10% or even less. These do cost more and the costs add up but this combo that I am reviewing often has the battery and 5ah charger for less than anywhere else that I have seen. You can always sell the charger if you don't need it or put it in another location where its handy so I think its the way to go to get the Powerstack. Powerstack pack is a little heaver by about 4.2 oz. and though its slightly slimmer (top to bottom) it has a larger footprint by about 1/4 inch wider and 5.8 inch longer across the base. Also, the power stack also has a grippy rubberized bottom that will not slide around like the XR pack with a smooth plastic base. I'm a bit disappointed that the Powerstack is bulkier than I expected but it does a great job delivering power and I look forward to a larger 6ah or 8ah pack in the future.

Lots of power for Dewalt tools. Powerstack batteries seem to charge faster than regular Dewalt battery packs.... and much lighter

Ya le di buen uso y si dura mucho mas que las normales, te da poco mas potencia a las máquinas y no es gigante como la flexvolt . Buena inversión si usas máquinas que piden potencia y uso continuo (como sierra recíproca o esmeril).

Great deal and the powerstack batteries are small, portable and have more power than the non power stack batteries. The included 5Ah charger is a bonus.

La batería y el cargador llegaron un día antes y en su estuche original. Ambos funcionan perfectamente, la batería excelente para el uso que le doy. Con este paquete sale más barata la batería que comprarla sola. Recomiendo aprovechar esta oferta. El vendedor bastante confiable.
