Love these chunky pencils. Good for backgrounds and large areas. Not so good for details. Feel nice in your hand and have superb pigmentation. Definetly a good purchase.

These pencils are fantastic - the colors are great, their fat enough to be held comfortable by smaller hands, the leads don't break, and they sharpen to a very fine point. They're more expensive than a lot of kids art supplies, but my son is still using the set I bought for him 2 years ago.

Great colored pencils! I've been looking for them for a while since I got them a few months ago in Norway and in Colombia (where I live) they don't sell them. They are really smooth for coloring and mix very good among them and with other colored pencils brands (I like to "create" different shades or tones with the colored pencils I have). I really recommend also getting a sharpener for these type of colors because they are really thick and they do not fit into regular sharpeners

these color pencils will be used in a classroom for children with disabilities. They love to color but have problems holding thinner pencils and crayons so the larger ones are a dream for them.

Love the colors and how well they color. I love the size but my 10 year old isn't too crazy about the size since they do not fit well in his sharpener. Got a better sharpener and all is good.

I ordered this set thinking I would receive the regular color assortment as pictured. However, I received the Metallic color set instead. The pencils themselves are fantastic.

I bought some of these in Europe a few years ago, and am so excited that they are now available on Amazon. These aren't just for kids--the quality is excellent, and you can work longer with a thicker pencil without getting tired.

We love our Lyra's. We have several sets, and they are one of only two brands I will purchase for my children. High quality, great color.

Als Ergänzung zu den "normalen" Bunstiften erfüllen diese Stifte den Wunsch unserer Tochter ("Glitzer-Holzstifte") rundum - fünf schöne Farben und alle sehen auf dem Papier wunderbar metallic aus, auch schon beim leichten Aufdrücken. Beim Runterrollen vom Tisch ist bisher noch keiner der Stifte abgebrochen (ich hoffe, das gilt auch für die Mine innen, habe aber einen sehr guten Qualitätseindruck). Bei den Großeltern gibt's im Faber-Castell-Set Gold und Silber als Holzstifte, die würde ich als gleichwertig einstufen - hier habe ich aber keine Kombi mit weiteren Metallic-Tönen gefunden; das macht dieses Set meiner Meinung nach erste Wahl.

Love this set, but when I opened the package the 3 pencils were already used. That’s on Amazon I guess, so still 5 stars.

Les couleurs sont intenses et légèrement métalliques. L'effet métallique n'est pas très prononcé mais les couleurs sont quand même très jolies.
