USBRMT New Generic Replacement Remote (White) for Bose Wave Music System AWRCC1 AWRCC2 aka Wave Radio/CD II

I had the Bose in non-working state for years. I thought it was the remote and not the machine itself, but even so, I haunted google trying to find people who had fixed theirs because I wasn't sure. What a hassle.Then I found this for only 9 bucks. With such a small cost it was worth the risk that it might not solve the problem.Well, I took it out of the mailing envelope, pointed it at the Bose and bingo, everything was back to working again.Including the battery was a nice touch.

Kind of cheap-looking but works perfectly with my Bose Wave, straight out of the package.On a different note, I sure wish Bose would make their Waves like they used to, with buttons on the top to control the radio's features. Because if you lose (I mean, 'misplace') the remote, which you (I mean, I) will surely eventually do because it's the size of a playing card and not much thicker and wedges into the most unimaginably small spaces), then you're screwed. You can turn the radio on and off and that's it. And you are not going to want to pay Bose's highway-robbery price for an 'authentic Bose' replacement remote.Or maybe you are, but why?Anyway, I hope my authentic Bose remote shows up again someday, but in the meantime this does the job just fine.

With all the good reviews, I must have received a dud. Will not even light. Thought maybe the battery was faulty. I. bought a new battery, nothing. Completely dead. Not worth the postage to return.

Finally! I found the replacement for a remote control of my boss device that, I was looking for... It met my expectations and even higher...I'm going to order another one as a spare.

The picture for ad for this remote it says “ battery included” but there’s isn’t one. I looked back on my order and read product details and in that it says “battery not included.” Very misleading!!!I waited this whole time to find out I need to now order a battery to make it work?!?There are many other companies that sell this remote ready to use for similar price.I should’ve bought elsewhere. Very disappointing!
