Now my zippo is daily usable

I stopped carrying my Zippo, as I only use it for occasional use, camp fires, and the like, and it was always empty. Now, with butane, I carry the lighter all the time, it's always ready to go. Not quite as wind-proof as a stock Zippo, and you have to hold the button down to keep it lit, but no more empty lighter or leaking lighter fluid. It's not made domestically, but it is stamped Zippo and fits the Zippo case without any issues.

用途は葉巻とパイプへの着火である。 良い点 ・着火性、火の安定性が非常に良い。 ・火は小さくなるものの、1月の寒い屋外でも十分使用に耐える。 ・本体の蓋の開閉に何ら影響を及ぼさない。音もしっかり鳴る。 気になる点 ・ジャックダニエルの黒マット塗装のケースを使用しているが、若干緩く、使用に影響する程ではないが、使用しているうちに浮き上がってしまう。真鍮無地のアーマーZIPPOや、別のノーマルZIPPOに入れてみるとぴったりだったので、ケース側の個体差の問題だと思われる。本品側面にマスキングテープを貼って調整すれば解決した。 ・ガスライターによくある火力調節機能がない。屋内では4～5cmの火が出るため、個人的には火力過剰である。とはいえ、この大きい火力設定のおかげで冬の屋外でも使用できることを考えれば、妥協はできると思う。 悪い点 ・ガスを出すボタンが小さい上に傾斜がついているので、たまに滑ってボタンを押し損ねる。せっかくの着火性の良さが生かされない。 総じて、いくつかの欠点はあるものの、以前使用していたZIPPO用他社製（ガスタンク部が透明でダブルフレームターボ式の）インサイドユニットとは使用感が雲泥の差である。 減少し続けるソフトフレーム式のガスライターをお探しの諸兄姉には、強くおすすめの商品である。

Great find!! Thinking much better than the standard zippo insert. Fit perfect in my 1990s circa lighter. I had read in another post should purge before filling. So I pressed and held the striker button on top until did not hear any more hissing. Filled, waited about 5 minutes, and lit on 1st try. Very good appearance and style. Works same as original insert but like the flame better.
