Very good for an amateur diyer, only fiddly part was cutting the metal shaft down to size but other than that, fitted well and seems sturdy enough

AVOID BORG LOCKS. Rubbish build quality. Barely lasted 1 year. Poor customer service from Borg locks. Not fit for outdoor use. I paid a premium for a British made product but unfortunately it was rubbish.

Good solid gate lock. Easy to fit but instruction ref choosing length of screws and spindle to break too could be better. Only issue (minor) is the inside knob would be better if it had serrations or irregular shape to make opening easier in wet conditions.

Very nice bit of kit, well put together and looks good. Fitting was a bit fiddly and no instructions about cutting down to size but still good value.

So this has been a good gate lock for 18 months but has now broken, the lock mechanism won’t retract enough now to release the gate so you basically get locked out. Very disappointed as it cost nearly £80. Won’t be buying another from Borg.

no issue with this, just need to spend a little time figuring out out to fit but was simple enough.

Absolutely rubbish Locking system failed after 3 months I took it apart applied WD forty Worked ok until the warranty expired then packed up for good
