Great Pin Oiler
I was looking for a pin oiler like the one my dad used in the Navy 70 years ago....it still works great. It was made in Cleveland, Ohio by the Dill Mfg. Company and was called the Press-To Oiler. Not being able to find one, I found this pin oiler at Amazon. It's not quite the same, but works so well that I bought two more. The operating mechanism is a push-button on top which operates the valve in the oiling tube. It can deliver a drop (or part of a drop) of oil precisely where you need it. The valve, unlike so many others, seals very well. In fact one of my oliers is filled with Kano Kroil, one of the best penetrating oils available, and it doesn't dribble like so many other oilers I have owned. A nice, well made oiler that works great.

High quality and works great
I purchased this precision oil dispenser for use in lubricating hard to reach spots on my handguns. The little gem works perfectly, allowing me to put small droplets of oil exactly where it is needed without over lubricating. The only negative if you will, is the relatively small reservoir capacity. Not that it is too small, its just that when you are filling it up one surprisingly has overfilled it in short order. On the other hand, you are only dispensing a very small droplet of oil each time so I guess it will not deplete the reservoir quickly. Overall this is a great oiling dispenser and highly recommend it if you need a precision oil applicator. As a side note this instrument is finely crafted and its quality is apparent the moment you take out of the packaging.

I works for me
I ordered this from California Tools and I got a defaced, non brand package, by the UPC code it looks like I got a Neiko one. I ordered one for me and works very well, I can pin point oil what needs and leaving everything else clean. I'm using it with Hopes #9 oil with very good oil placement control (for me). Instead of placing the tip of the applicator and then pressing the plunger, I form an oil drop in the tip of the needle and then apply the drop where I need it; I found this easier to do. This way I can see how much oil I'm applying and thanks to the long and thin needle I can see where I'm putting it (due to my eyesight, I use a magnifier lens). I keep the oiler horizontal inside a tool box wrapped in a paper napkin and no leaks. -1 Star because my original intention was to order three more as gifts after I tried the first one, but due to the packaging (that looks as it was a used second hand, that it wasn't), I will not.

Great diapenser for small amount(single drop) of liquid.
I use this in HVAC at work and any other rusty situations. It is instrumental to the removal of rusty bolt, screw, nut, etc(when filled with Kroil). I have had no leaking issues. The only issue is(due to physics) you have to unscrew the cap to let air in every once in a while or the fluid doesn't flow. This is caused by the tight seal of the container. When the liquid inside is used, the air left behind starts to create a vacuum, preventing the liquid from flowing.

Works great, after slight modification
Pleased with the size and design. One flaw is the length of the plunger that opens/closes the dispenser tip. It is too long. If I tighten the filling cap enough to seal the oil reservoir, it opens the dispenser tip and allows oil to escape. I had to trim 1/16 of an inch off of the plunger in order to keep the dispenser tip closed tightly.

Wonderful tool
Makes oiling my sewing machine less messy and more precise.

Usability depends on viscosity of oil.
This is my second oil pen. With light weight machine oil, it works great and I can get very small amounts of oil in precise areas. I used my second oil pen to try and dispense a somewhat heavier viscosity oil and it is much more difficult to have the oil flow through the port.

Well built
Solid metal, well balanced and handles well. Needle was larger then I was looking for. Have not tried it with lighter oils but woks well with heavier oils.

No leaks, and well built. Working out perfectly for what I am using it for.

Works ok.
Well made, doesn’t leak, works as advertised. I wouldn’t pay any more for it.

Not for my uses
This is okay, maybe for other applications this would work great but for my uses (firearm cleaning in tight areas like trigger assembly) I prefer a needle bottle. Quality appears to be very good and it does work.

Leaks from cap
It leaks from the cap if you don't keep it standing up which defeats the purpose. Absolute junk do not buy.
