First 100 Words (First 100 Board Books)

Such a lovely book for my 18-month-old! They use this book at nursery (and she’s always with it) so we decided to get her a copy! She loves the bright colours and pictures, and it keeps her interested for a good period of time with or without someone reading to her. She already knows quite a few of the items in the book, which gives her a sense of achievement as we work through things she doesn’t know yet! The words are written clearly underneath which is a great early way to start building phonics skills and word recognition. Fab book overall and would highly recommend!

A nice, large sized book with bright colours and very clear photos that keeps my little one years old's attention. I think the graphic design of the book holds her attention much better than story books, which she can't read. And more importantly helps her to learn. Each page is based around a category with 9 photos of items within that category, such as food. The graphic blocks of colour help to separate and define each word with its photo. I didn't realise how large it was, as I have another similar book in this range that is smaller, but it's a pleasant surprise. She returns to this book quite often, more often than the smaller one, and I think it's because it is large so the pictures are nice and clear, and babies like big things! The pages are nice and thick so there's no risk of tearing. After a couple of weeks of reading this book together, at 14 months, she is really attempting to repeat the names of the items back to me. Not always perfectly clear, but the sounds are there.

My 18 month old LOVES this book! It's a great size (quite large) and one of our favourite books to take out and about with us to keep our toddler entertained! This book is very sturdy and perfect for toddler hands! This book is full of bright colours and pictures - a fantastic book for little ones to learn new words from. Highly recommend! It has honestly helped my daughter with her vocabulary so much!

Great first book for my toddler - love the real pictures and really useful to help him learn animals, body parts, colours and many other things. A pretty big book though that can be heavy for little hands, but also very sturdy

My little boy (seven months old) loves the pictures in this book. It was a bit bigger than I was expecting so I initially felt a little disappointed when it arrived that my son wouldn't be able to hold this and turn the pages as he does with his other board books. However, it's a great book to lay open flat on the floor in front of him. He loves spending time on his tummy anyway and often goes for this book. When it's open he will bat at all the colourful pictures on the pages and has even managed to turn some of the pages himself. He really seems to enjoy it and there is plenty of mileage with it with lots of pictures and words to show and read to him.

Good solid pages with lots of bright coloured objects little ones can ones can understand. Good for learning the names of simple items and for learning language. 11month old granddaughter loves it as she can turn the pages herself.

Quality book Really pleasant for the kids...nice pictures and well made. I really recommend this book...your toddler will absolutely love it

０歳の息子が、6ヶ月の頃から夢中です。いま10ヶ月になったところですが、自分でハイハイして本に向かっていき、自力で開いて眺めています。色んなページを堪能しています。英語の家庭教師の先生（イギリス人の若い女性）が教えてくれましたが、購入して本当に良かった。、 ただ、shippingの途中で傷ついたのか、角が破損しており、マスキングテープで補強して使ってます。。それだけ残念。
