Organic Throat Coat Lemon Echinacea Tea

I initially bought this tea because I had a sore throat but it's become a staple at my home. It has a pleasant smoothing taste which lasts and cuts down on my use of sore throat lozenges. I've been drinking more of it during allergy season and it's been very comforting and relieves the throat tickle. I like that it doesn't upset my stomach as other teas tend to do. I introduced my mom to it. She has always suffered from a persistent cough and sore throat. She loves it. She has a cup of this tea every evening before bed. She says it helps her stay asleep longer because it soothes her throat and she doesn't wake up as much coughing. I strongly enjoy the taste, smell, and positive results this tea has given us. It's a keeper.

Love this product. Great for sore throats or just when you're under the weather. Slippery elm really helps out and is an all natural probiotic. For younger kids, I wouldn't recommend more than 1-2 a day as the natural probiotic can upset your stomach. Excellent product!

I’ve been a grade school teacher for 27 years and my voice and throat have taken a beating over the years. I started drinking this tea and it has really helped with the sore throat and voice loss. The taste is pleasant too.

I drink this daily. It keeps my throat hydrated and helps when I am sick. It has a wonderful taste so nothing needs to be added. I noticed that when I drink this, I get colds less often.

Once cold and flu season I start drinking. It may or may not really work but what does it hurt to have some warm herbal tea

I'm a metal vocalist (baritone/low tenor singing and screaming. Think Killswitch Engage, Soilwork, or Five Finger Death Punch). I drink this non-stop while recording vocals or performing. My advice is to take small sips throughout the performance. You don't need to gulp it down. I keep a large sports water bottle filled with hot water and drop one bag into the bottle. I've never tried two, because one works just fine. Hot water from the sink works just fine, if you're in a place where you can't boil water. I've never sung better. Granted, I've also been taking vocal lessons for the past year, but I do believe this has contributed as well. And yes, the lessons include the screaming. YES, there is a real technique to screaming, and when done PROPERLY, it does no damage to your throat. Look up "vocal fry" if you're interested in the technique. Even if you don't sing metal, it's a good technique to have in your repertoire, if only to scare your friends! Drinking this, it almost feels like it's numbing my throat. That's not a bad thing. It just removes any sensation of strain or effort while singing. Combined with proper technique, you can go on for hours by sipping this stuff. I've had no detrimental effects, except that if I do try to sing for 8 hours straight, I won't be able to sing effectively the next day due to fatigue (no pain, just fatigue. All my notes come out flat, and there's nothing I can do about it. The screaming is not affected by fatigue at all, by the way, so what I do is record all the clean singing first, and then go back and add the screaming vocals). Throat Coat is worth its weight in gold if you're trying to get as much done as possible in the studio so you don't have to go back for multiple visits, or if you need to push through several performances without feeling tired.

This tea is absolutely awesome. Before i do “voiceovers or audition work” I drink 2 cups of this tea and it really helps my voice. On one audition i had to do a scene part and the cast director wanted me to redo a scene over and over and when they asked for “an elevation” my voice gave out the 3d time. But it was partially my fault. (I didnt warm up voice, i was drinking iced tea before audition and was talking too much, lol). The cd laughed and said “ok, rest your voice”. (I now keep extra tea bags in my “makeup carry bag”). PS…i got the part!
