This was bought as a replacement for one issued by Vista that I lost. I am partially sighted and rely on this to be able to read. The fast delivery was great and the magnifier is identical to the one I lost. It doesn't have a small spot that magnifies to a greater degree, the whole of it is what it says. It's not huge, a bout two inches across, but anything larger is not ideal for my type of sight loss. The light in the handle is ideal when reading text (books or news papers etc.) As it illuminates the page well. The unit comes with batteries and a cover for the glass, but it doesn't have a stand, luckily I didn't lose that bit! Overall its ideal for those with sight difficulties

My visually challenged mother cannot live without this magnifier. It is robust, well made and easy to use and change batteries. A good compomise between magnification power and area of field to be magnified. Well worth the money.

Very nice high quality item. Comes with three clip on filters to go over the LED to change the colour temperature if you find the unfiltered light too harsh. With the aspherical lens it does help reduce colour aberrations. Would buy again.

I am very pleased. It is robust and dors just what i ned.

Purchased for my mother who is partially sighted. Of all the ones she has used, this by far provides the clearest magnification over a reasonable area. We hesitated quite bit before buying due to the price, but glad we did; it is now her 'go-to' magnifier.

Purchased for my elderly neighbour who is extremely happy with it. Helps her read again :)

It's good, but very expensive and I'm not sure it's that much better than other much cheaper products available at a fraction of the price

The value must be in the magnifier because it isn't in the electronics! You may find out when the switch doesn't work and the light stays on all the time which is what happened to mine after little use. The switch operates a cheap and nasty plastic contact switch with a cheap and nasty spring. I am so angry about this product made in Germany that I am now convinced that out of the EU Btitain cannot do worse! Fifty pounds for this. These manufacturers should be exposed and stopped and old people like me protected from their rubbish!!

Mai una lente ha soddisfatta così tanto mia madre! Adesso è il prolungamento del suo braccio! Soffrendo di una maculopatia importante con questa lente riesce a leggere e ad essere autonoma! La consiglio vivamente!
