Does it come off the stand nicely?

Mine came off TOO easily...so, I put a drop of epo0xy in there and it hasn't come off since ! I LOVE the little beast !

no gear does not retract. it has no gear.

Can i take some of the stickers or emblems off or are they painted

they are painted, so you would need to repaint
