This has a nice cherry flavor to it but it didn’t mix well all the time. I feel it didn’t have the caffeine effect either.

Cherry Slush is my favorite Alani Nu flavor in the regular cans, and I knew I had to try the flavor packets. To me, they do taste different than the cans, as the flavor packets have a more artificial cherry flavor. If you are a fan of that, then you will love these, but they are not as subtle as the other flavors.

I used to drink 1 can per day (I don’t drink any coffee or other caffeine) but I realized the packets have much less sodium. I mix one packet in 24 oz of water and it give more hydration than a small can. It does have a slightly different taste but I like it just as much. I have not tried the other flavors in packet form.

This tastes the way a powdered drink usually tastes. A little too tart at first and then a slightly bland finish. The canned version is SO MUCH BETTER. That being said, if you’re traveling like me and it’s impractical to bring cans with you, then this is OK. It provides a nice energy boost and it mixes/ dissolves well in water. Just don’t expect it to taste the same as the canned version.

YES, I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM SCREAMING "THIS SUCKS"!!!! When it first came out up until about 3 months ago when it vanished from all inventory everywhere and returned as a sad hint of what it once was. Now I can barely can take a couple of sips. It's just gross, it's not even close to the same.
