I received the Flip phone, and the battery is not charging. The first one I bought worked wonderfully, but this one, on the other hand, is giving me problems. I charged the phone for 12 hours so I could begin the activation. I began by opening the phone, turning it on, and it would not pass the 'Select Your Language' page. The phone did not come with a SIM card, so I had to buy a SIM card for the phone, and the phone is still not functioning properly. This is too much for a prepaid phone.

If you are looking for a smartphone this isn't it. But honestly this is a nice little phone with a lot of modern amenities like navigation. My parents are older and can't handle a smartphone but this has nice battery life, nice sound levels and if you just want a phone to make and take calls, this has you covered. Don't let the negative reviews get you. This is a good phone.

My 87 year old father went from a flip phone to an iPhone 12. Needless to say, he wanted to go back to a flip phones a few months later. So I got him this phone. I was able to just switch out the SIM card from the iPhone to this and it worked. Fairly simple to use. The directional pad is a little tuff to navigate because you have to push the very edge of the ring to move around, which is hard for the elderly with shaky fingers. Also, there didn’t appear to be an easy way to transfer contacts from the iPhone to this phone. A lot of phones have a Bluetooth sync function for this, but this one did not seem to have that. Had to enter all his contacts in manually.

This flip phone turned on and charged up but could not be activated. I will try taking it to my local Verizon store, but huge hassle--and not even sure they can get it to work!!!
