Smashbox Photo Finish Primers | Face Primers for Makeup, Smooths Skin & Extends Makeup Wear | Hydrating, Pore-Minimizing & Mattifying Formulas

I've tried at least 10 or more different primers over the last few years and recently discovered Smashbox. I ordered the small travel size to try and I absolutely love it. It works as a hydrator for my skin as well. My skin is on the dry side and it feels so hydrated and silky as well as making my make up look the same. My foundation stays looking really good till I get home from work at night. I use a different brand of primer for my eye makeup but I just ordered the travel size trio which includes the spray to try those products out as well. As far as the blurring affect goes, I don't think anything is gonna blur my wrinkles. I don't mind paying more for something that works well. I use a different brand of foundation that's a little pricey but I'm definitely going to try Smashbox foundation out soon as well.

I have been using primer for 10 years. I can't live without it. The product is fantastic, but everytime I buy, the containers seem to be getting smaller and smaller. I compared this one to an old (same product) 2 years ago. It is significantly smaller. This company is not the only one doing this. Every makeup line is reducing the size of the their product and prices are significantly higher.

I forgot how good this primer really is. I used to use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer years ago when I was in makeup school, and after trying it again, I instantly remembered why it was such a staple. My biggest skin concerns are large pores, uneven texture, acne-scar texture, and melasma that can be hard to cover without my makeup looking heavy or cakey. This primer does not magically erase everything, but it makes a very noticeable difference in how smooth my skin looks. What impressed me most is that it gives my skin a soft-focus look. My pores look less obvious, my acne scars look smoother, and my makeup looks more blended overall. It also helps my makeup last longer and keeps everything looking more even throughout the day.

This is a good primer BUT if you don’t let it dry completely before you apply foundation it will pill—at least that’s what I found with this. Except for that,it works well and your foundation goes on smoothly over it.

I will conclusively submit with pleasure that this product delivers exactly what it promises. Bonus: It is either unscented or has a scent so mild that I don't remember noticing any scent. This product is a facial/eye primer with a blurring effect. It does exactly that, feels beautiful, and has a luxurious, silky textures that melts onto your skin. It can be used alone in my opinion, but also is the promised excellent primer to use before applying foundation. It gives a nice smooth blurred base that allows you to apply foundation smoothly and evenly. This is quite different than using a moisturizer only. It is a bit pricey, but the result is well worth it, and I no longer have to keep trying other products that I am not happy with. I am very particular about my skincare, and I fully endorse this product. To be more helpful, I will tell you that I am 68 years old with fair combination skin, and a couple of areas of discoloration spots. I don't have any acne-related issues, so I can't speak to that. I'm letting you know my personal "skin story" to help you compare and decide if this product might be good for you too.

Wears beautifully and blurs and minimizes all the wrinkles! My favorite primer ever! And I’ve tried a lot!

This is a really cool product for blurring fine lines and wrinkles. Works well even after makeup has been applied.

It’s a very good product. I’ve been using it for years. I usually mix it in a little bit with my foundation. It makes the foundation more moist and not cakey looking plus fills in any little tiny lines on your face.

Product is excellent, but it's a trial size being sold at the same price as the full size version. The top line description says 3oz, but the package is for 0.34floz... I should have read the description more closely, but that headline is simply misleading (especially at that price), and should be corrected.

Smoothes skin to allow make-up to sit better - really does give a photo finish. My only criticism is the price for such a small tube, but this was the cheapest I found at the time
