Can help with low stomach acid
I ordered this at the recommendation of my practitioner to help with low acid in the stomach. These are easy to swallow and work well.

My practitioner recommended for digestion
My naturopath practitioner recommended these for digestion, and I take up to 5 with a heavy meal. They do wonders!! I've tried regular Betaine HCL but it doesn't work as much as this product which also seems to have Pepsin and Glutamic Acid.

The old formula was better
I used to take this product several years ago and it was excellent, however now that I needed it after a stay in the hospital, it is not as strong as it was before. It does not always put enough acid in my stomach to fully close the esophageal sphincter muscle. It is better than nothing though.
