Excellent.Home gym for beginner/intermediate weight training
Budget friendly. Sturdy. Follow the instructions and take the time to put it together correctly. Yes, it will have flaws here and there but nothing that would cause this to be unsafe. All cosmetic. I wanted to start with a budget friendly power rack and prove I can stay committed and consistent with my routine for some time, before dropping serious cash on something that would never need any work, or extra attachments. Iโd like to add cable crossover attachments to this style of rack and Iโd be content even more so. If youโre on the fence about this, let this review be your sign to just pull the trigger and get it. Goes on sale $100 off quite often. Add it to your wish list and wait for sale notifications and get the thing. You wonโt be mad that you invested on your wellness training.

Amazing price for a beginner to intermediate lifter
This rack has been a game-changer for me, allowing me so much versatility in my home gym. Assembly was easy, and it took 3-4 hours to get the rack, and the lat pulldown dialed with a socket wrench. It's a two-person job, but in a pinch and with some extra time, you could do it by yourself. Once assembled, it has a compact size perfect for a garage, but it's still big enough to get the job done. Despite the 2x2-inch construction and the relatively high-gauge steel, the rack manages to be very sturdy. The only time I've seen it even slightly wobble was when I roughly dropped a loaded barbell heavily into the j-hooks. Although I have not bolted the rack to the floor (a possibility), even on weighted pullups, the rack doesn't really shake or shift. The lat pulldown works perfectly and it comes with all sorts of useful attachments. Some people have complained about the J-hooks, but I haven't really had a problem with them. They look more like miniature spotter arms that allow you to place a bar away from the back uprights and, thus, away from the lat pulldown wires. Without the J-hooks extending out into the rack, the back of the rack and wires would prevent you from setting a bench in a position where you could be almost directly under the bar. Yes, the J-hooks are a little loose on the rack, have a weight limit of 220 lbs, and the rubber pads that protect the hooks are cheaply made, but it is absolutely not a deal breaker. I did eventually get some more traditional J-hooks that don't stick out into the rack space, though I still use the original blue J-hooks when doing incline bench. After testing four bargain, aftermarket J-hooks, these were the best: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1G53YZ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 The only problem that I really have with this rack is that it's so good that I've been doing a lot more lifting and have now begun to daydream about upgrading to something wildly more expensive. If I were to improve upon this rack, I would place the holes closer together. At times, I'm setting up the bar, and it's either a little too near or too far from the floor/bench to be optimal. The landmine attachment is great if you're lifting it straight up and down, but its attachment point to the rack doesn't allow it to move quite as nicely laterally. Lastly, my dip bars were very slightly bent (almost imperceptible except to me, but I can't not see it!). You can't expect commercial-grade equipment at this price, however, this rack is solid, versatile, and still a steal for the money.

Used by a powerlifter(very impressed)
For the record, I bench over 400lbs and squat well over 600. I am writing this review so people can determine if this is safe enough for them. This is not a high end rack but it definitely is a great value for beginners and intermediate lifters. I recommend finding proper sized j-hooks that are higher quality (that is only downside of this rack) I am writing this after assembly and testing. I loaded up a 495lb barbell on the rack while using aftermarket j hooks I purchased separately. And did a set. On the final rep I purposely failed and let the bar fall on the safety pins. Everything held up impressively well. As for the pulley system, I loaded up 185 on the pins(4 plates). And repped it out with the different attachments just to mess around. If you buy the power rack + the pulley system(which I recommend you do) the boxes for the rack and the box for the pulley system will ship with different tracking numbers. They will arrive at different times. This freaked me out at first because I thought I got screwed out of my money. Misunderstanding..... Anyway, assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. Hardware was strong. You might not have such an easy time if you are not inclined with a wrench so get help from someone who is. The only tools of your own that you will need are a 5/8ths Socket or wrench. I used a Socket on an impact gun and that helped me get the rack together in an hour. Pulley system will take another hour. Will take longer if a ratchet or a spanner wrench is used. Things to take note of when assembling: -make sure you do not over Tighten bolts (They are good strength but it's always possible) -MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY TENSION PULLEYS ON FLOATING ASSEMBALLY (You will immediately break your pulley) ^^Not a quality issue, just negligence of buyer -the longer pulley cable goes on top, shorter on bottom. -verify that standing supports are in correct orientation, it is easy to mix them up and you will have a horrible time fixing it when it's too late. Ask me how I know. -put all pulleys in before cord then when it is time to put the cord in you can take bolts out one at a time (do not fully Tighten until finished) -bolt into the ground if you can -when finished assembling apply wd-40 to all moving parts, pulleys and along both pulley wires. Conclusion: Rack is very strong, good quality and good for Lifters that are not in the 1000lb club yet. Great deal for the money. I am honestly impressed. I was so anxious reading the reviews. If anything changes and I have anything break I will be updating this review. But for now, it is a 5 star for sure from me.

Good power rack for the price
I am upgrading my home gym from just a barbell bench to a full cage. This power cage is excellent for the price. It fit into my home gym nicely. Height is about 7 feet. It didn't hit my ceiling which is about 8 feet. It has everything I need. Squat rack, bench, pullup, landmine, and cable exercise. All I need is to reuse my old barbell and buy a new bench and that's it. Installation is straightforward but time consuming. I need to use a step ladder to do the top part. It sway at the top but once you get one or two bolts in you should be good. However, after the installation the whole rack does wobble a little. It is stable enough but I do wish it could be better. Some of the parts were scratched inside the box. So packaging can be better. The rack itself scratches easily too. A slight bang of the bar scratched the rack. So they should've used heavier paint. Overall, for the price this is a good product. I wish they can be better in some ways but I am satisify with the purchase.

I like it! Pretty solid.
This cage seems pretty heavy duty, to my surprise. I have it on a foam mat in my apartment with a limited amount of room. Basically, it sits in a one-bedroom apartment in the dining area. It looks nice and it holds the weights just fine. It is a bonus that I can use it with a standard bar and standard plates. It definitely took me some time to put together because it comes in a lot of pieces, in three separate boxes. I have no problems doing dips or pull-ups on it so it's pretty stable. Yes you have to have some patience putting it together, and the instructions underneath the pictures help you out significantly because it tells you what bolt goes where. There are several different bolt sizes and to verify the piece/bolt that you need It will explain it underneath the photos. It took me a couple of hours to put together with some profanity because some of it is difficult. When it says don't tighten the bolts down all the way, tighten them enough to add some stability, yet have some give, not too much. Initially I just hand tighten them all on there and the thing was all over the place. A socket set will do you very well here. When I put the lat pull down attachment together It was pretty stiff. A dash of WD-40 will go a long way here and let it slide with ease. It is a little bigger than I expected because I didn't expect the lat pulldown section to protrude so much, but it still fits just fine. For an inexpensive cage, this thing looks good and performs just as well as other cages. The price point was good and if you have the patience, it will probably last you a long time after putting it together. The other thing I like about it, is it came from a small business and I am a fan of small businesses. They're not around as much as they used to be and I try to support them as much as possible. Initially, I only got two of the three boxes and contacted the seller. They responded super fast. They sent me the shipping info for the final box and told me that they would contact FedEx (which I am not a fan of) and tell them to get moving on that third box. As a added bonus for contacting them, they also sent an instructional video you can get on YouTube on how to put it together. Pretty cool right? If you were curious about the Olympic aspect, it does have sleeves that go over the standard plate holders that converts it into an Olympic for holding plates and other parts. The landmine attachment has a sleeve for an Olympic bar or a standard bar which I thought was pretty cool. The Olympic sleeve covers appear to be very hard plastic and are secured by screw. I don't know how durable they will be because I didn't utilize them. If you were worried about the weight sliding off, as an added bonus it comes with spring clips to keep the weights from sliding off. Olympic and standard! It actually is a pretty well thought-out design and I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy this for years to come. I don't ride a whole bunch of positive reviews about things, but due to the nature of the company's responsiveness and the quality of the product, I have to give this one a review.

Worth the investment
Unit comes in three separate packages at different times, very easy to put together. Its sturdy and the the pull down attachment slides as it should without any kind of cheap feel to it. The cable attachments that came with the unit are of good quality as well. Almost eliminates going to the gym altogether. I did add a different set of j hooks to it as the ones that came with it are to long in my opinion. ( work well for fron safety) Over all well worth it.

Great quality for the price
I had been on the fence about building a home gym for a while, and this summer of 2023 I finally decided to take the plunge. To me, the core of any good gym is a high quality power cage, and after much research, this power cage turned out to be it for me for the following reasons: Size: this power cage is compact without sacrificing quality and design. The power cage doesn't take up a lot of space in my garage, yet it serves me to do pretty much everything I was doing iny former gym. Weight: this power cage is solid. Once it was fully assembled and in its place, it has remained solidly in place with no wobble, and without me having to screw it into the floor. However, I am still able to move it around with a bit of effort when I'm cleaning The area where it is. Durability: the power cage seems solid enough. One thing I did notice when I was assembling the top portion of the power cage is that the metal started bending when I tried putting the screws tight, so I had to make sure to not tighten too much the bars and pieces of metal to keep the steel from bending. However, this has not seemed to affect my workouts. Assembly: this was a pain to assemble. The assembly itself is not that hard, but it does take a while to complete the assembly. It took me several sessions to assemble, but if I were to add up all the time, I would say to be ready to spend 4-6 hours working on this, but to be fair, I was taking my time and enjoying a beer each time I took turn รฑs to continue the assembly. Overall I am impressed with the price vs quality ratio. For a power cage that does 90% of what I was doing at my former gym, I can say that my money has been well-spent and has been more of an investment than a purchase. Only time will tell, but as of right now, I have a feeling that this power cage will last for years of regular, nearly every day heavy use.

Awesome and wallet friendly
This rack is everything I will ever be needing in my home gym space! Fairly easy to assemble (you might need a second person to give you a hand) The instructions manual is a bit confusing but with some common sense you so got this! I love the versatility of this rack especially all the additional exercises enabled by the pulley system. It is a great advantage that it comes with so many attachments to use with it that otherwise you would have to purchase separately. Love the handles that fast and easily build a little dip station - another perk of this rack. At first I thought they'd be too far apart, but the distance between them is pretty good to allow for the use by people with different body types. Note: it only comes with a couple carabiners, but that is not a big deal for me. I'll probably purchase some extra so there is one for each attachment and I don't have to switch all the time. The quality and value is great for the cost and it is very cute looking with the blue accents, I mean I had to say something about the aesthetics of this baby. Now let me point out this is definitely more of a beginner rack or for women and people who are not planning to compete or go to extreme with their weights. Please check the total max of weight capacity for this rack before you purchase. If you have a good leveled floor/ground great, if you don't you'll either have to mount it to the ground or think of some sort of platform or base to keep it leveled. And last but not least, this company really cares about their customers! I had an issue with one of the safety bars and theis responses were amazingly fast and I was sent a replacement part in a day! Outstanding customer service, keep up the fabulous work Ultra Fuego!
