It's about 5-10 lbs so I would plan on a shipping weight of 10lbs- I saw the response about it being 2lbs, I seriously doubt it but I do not have a scale in front of me to validate. It's about the same weight as a small sledge hammer. figure 10lbs and you should be safe. Very good device!

Will this tool work for a 2000 lt-a500f quadmaster?

I used it on a Yamaha dirt bike, so I don't know. Measure from the crank center to screws in the case. If the tool arms will reach it will work.

Will this work on a suzuki lt500r bottom end?

Haven't used it on lt500r and don't have one to measure, but if it has 3 case screws around the crank which are close enough for the arms to reach I don't see why not. You may have to get screws of proper diameter and thread pitch and length. Don't damage your case by using wrong screws. I used it on a little Yamaha dirt bike and it was very slick. Beats razor blades and screwdrivers for separating the cases.
