Great camera & sound quality, records entire incidents & easy to install.
You can set up the sensitivity for your camera to your own preferences, to catch or not catch certain things. It records about a second prior to an event to the end we also have the other Google cameras to go with this doorbell. The picture/video/sound quality is amazing compared to others & it doesn’t look cheap. Before you install make sure your doorbell transformer can handle the camera system. I have an older house and we needed to upgrade the system (16VAC/30VA) for the camera to work properly. It was $20 at home depot and only a few wires to swap out just make sure to turn your power off before you start messing around with electricity which you’ll need to do to also install the doorbell and chime anyways.

Works in Ireland (and the UK)
If you're thinking of buying this to install in Ireland (or the UK), I can confirm that it works. The only thing is that if you're coming from the 1st generation wired Nest Hello doorbell, as I was, you may need to upgrade your transformer. The 1st gen required 12V whereas this one needs 16V. I bought this one from Amazon UK and it works perfectly. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08XQ2TXVQ As for the doorbell itself, the image quality is slightly better, but bear in mind that the aspect ratio is now 3:4 instead of 4:3. The main advantage is that the notification time is much faster. Installation was pretty easy. The screw holes for the base plate are the same as the 1st gen, which is handy. My only tip is that the wires need to fit within the hole in the base plate. If they don't, you won't be able to attach the doorbell.

Easy to install
We love the nest doorbell. Easy to install, connects to Alexa or the wired door bell. Sound quality is good. Download the app to see who’s at the door!

Do you see what I see?
My home’s appeal is enhanced by the presence of a Google Home. I wasn’t particularly fond of the ambiance of Ring, so I decided to make my home a Google Home instead. The face library may not be entirely accurate, but if you can see the feed, you can still identify the people.

Good camera with some recording limitations
Over all, I like this camera, but I probably wouldn't buy another. My main issue with it is probably more software based. I feel it doesn't pick up events nearly as good as other cameras. Just about every single time it picks something up, it starts recording late, and ends recording early. Other cameras record quite a few seconds before and after an event. For example, oftentimes I'll get a notification for "animal activity" as I live in the woods. When I watch the recording, the animal, often a cat, racoon, opossum etc, will already be right in front of the camera. It didn't pick up the animal walking up to the house, even though it's clearly very visible. Then, the recording often stops while the animal is still moving and still in the frame of vision. This happens with people sometimes too, although less often. So, my main complaint is not enough recording time before/after a detection, and no way to adjust this setting. I also don't like that I can't set different notification sounds for different events. It would be nice to have a different sound for people vs animals vs cars (sometimes picks up cars driving by at night, this is somewhat adjustable with "zones"). The video quality is good. The setup/installation was easy (hardwired), and the doorbell chime adapter works well. It also fully integrates with Google, Google TV and Google Home, so I can pull up the camera on my Google TV easily, and any other device. If someone rings the doorbell, and my TV is on, I'll get a notification on the TV and can quickly view the camera on the TV if I choose to.

Replaced an original Nest doorbell camera
I had a original Nest doorbell camera that I loved, until the company was bought out by Google and I slowly started losing functionality. I have tried many doorbell cameras, including the most popular, and hated all of them. I only put this one on the back burner because I think it's ugly. However, this works very well for me. I love all the settings, face and animal recognition, and the package notification (that it sees one and when it detects that it's no longer there). I've learned through this device that my front porch is a regular cut through for the neighborhood animals (cats and dogs). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family or friends.

AWFUL- Get something else
I bought this 2 years ago, and it has not worked properly a single day since. Google will gaslight you by recommending you reset your internet, move your router, and buy additional products like their WiFi extenders- this is all BS. My internet runs at 600mbps, WiFi carries around 420mbs, and my laptop will run 89mbps even using a VPN at the end of my driveway- 45 feet from the router, 15 feet further than the doorbell, yet the doorbell barely ever connects to the WiFi properly, and NEVER connects consistently. I haven’t had live video for more than 3 seconds at a time in 2 full years. It either fails to playback live at all, or connects for a few seconds before giving an error. Recently, it gives me an “offline” notification 4-5 times daily despite other devices being connected with no issues. Even if the signal strength is too weak, basic troubleshooting isolates this issue to the device, not the router, as other devices consistently don’t face the same issue- none of the devices I’ve tested have ever had this issue. This means the connectivity issue lies within the doorbell itself- it’s produced flawed. At best, it’s ignorance or incompetence on the part of the engineers, but it’s likely a known fault intended to strong arm the consumer into purchasing additional google products like WiFi extenders. I bought this because the brand is reputable, but frankly, the product is garbage. Buy something cheap and Chinese instead; you’ll get the expected value out of that. I paid a premium for a premium product by a well established company, and what I got was a complete piece of trash. It so consistently fails, that it has gone offline again while typing this review. There is no way to remotely reboot the device, so I have to disconnect it from the facade of the house to reboot. Poor, awful, cash grab, garbage.

Excelente producto
Excelente integración con google home, yo tengo los google nest hub y es inmediato la replica de todo. Solo hay que tener en cuenta que se requiere un voltaje de 16 a 24 volts para que se considere un transformador adecuado

Terrible.
Terrible. Small viewing angle, even light rain destroys the visibility. Dust is the devil for this kit. Awful in the sun. Definitely not worth the price. Poor image quality.
