Pieces fit together well.
Most important with a model is of course that the pieces fit together well. these do. I personally like the larger models such as this, more than the smaller 1:25 or 1:24. Went together in about a week including painting. I would have to say the only frustration was with the doors lining up, or staying closed however, after a little sanding and trimming here and there - no more issue. the base plastic is white; therefore, it will require a paint job. Before I purchased, I had already decided to go with black, and I have purchased a second one which will be silver when completed.

Nice model. Love the large scale
Nice model. Love the large scale. All parts intact and ready tp paint and assemble. The firebird hood decal comes in 3 different colors, so it gives the modeler a wide choice as far as paint jobs.

Fun Walk Down Memory Lane!
A lot of work but a fun walk down memory lane! I did my best to match my 1979 Trans Am. I even printed a copy of my actual license plate to add. The dash gauges were a kit I bought on eBay. Those turned out great. Added a wire dipstick and spark plug wires drilled into the tine alternator. That was a pain. They were some issues with mound that I had to use modelers putty to correct. I spent a lot of time on this model and display it proudly.

Prefit parts because this kit isnt perfect.
Most parts had to be filed to fit. Mostly had a real difficult time with the chassis also the glass and body not fitting properly.
