Makes Great Jam
I made some very delicious strawberry jam with this, and just two other ingredients: strawberries and sugar. The best jam we ever have eaten.

Great for jam
I used to use the Ball gel pectin but found this. I actually like it better. With the gel you add to the cooked jam at the last of the cooking time. This product you add to the jam in the beginning and it's done. I find I have better success with my jam using the powdered versus the gel.

Cook longer
The instructions called for a one minute boil after putting in the pectin. Another site said four minutes. I boiled four minutes and that was perfect. Would not have set up properly if only boiled for one minute

Works great!
I made some good grape jelly using this pectin. It was easy to use and the jelly turned out grape, I mean great!

Essential for jam/jelly making
We use Ball Pectin Flex Batch in our jam and jelly making, and are always happy with the results. I prefer the flex batch packaging so I can measure out exactly what we need, versus dealing with the packets you can more easily find locally. We ordered early this year and are really glad we did, since everyone seemed to be getting into canning during the 2020 quarantine.
