Best resource ive found for learning how to write chinese character and build up vocabulary. Can't recommend enough.

Straight forward and well laid out. Nothing easy about Chinese but you gotta start somewhere and here's a good place.

Great book to practice

I've been using both the first and second volumes simultaneously to learn how to write Chinese characters. I don't think I could do it without these books. The instructions are clear and I have been able to find every character I need in either volume 1 or 2. I'm studying Mandarin online and in a Zoom class so I really need to be able to study writing on my own. Very happy that I bought them.

This book actually requires you to spend time studying. If you think you have bought it and just because of that you know Chinese all of a sudden...then you're wrong. It has simple as well as complex exercising patterns so all in all if you put the time in you will get the results with this book.

They give enough space to practice inside. Give additional vocabulary and even exercices. Can't wait for HSK3 version !

It is a brilliant book. Lots of exercises for you to practice Mandarin. I love it.

Good

This is the second book in the series. I liked the first so much and learned so much ( I’m studying on my own) that I went on to Book 2. Together they are excellent for presenting new material, giving opportunity and space to practice, and meaningful exercises from simple to challenging to go with each lesson. Having the opportunity to connect with online resources is also very valuable. It’s a well-written series that is definitely worth using.
