A must if you only have one key
Works really well , ordered as I had locked MY KEY on my Ford focus .( limited my speed 60 miles a hour and gave me speed warnings over 40 miles a hour ) Only having one car key I now have the remote just in case I leave my keys in the car and shut the door . (It cost me £250 to call a locksmith out on Christmas Eve because I put shopping in the boot and closed it !! It automatically locks the car !!! .

It's OK...
Not even close to factory, but was useful for soe parts to repair an OEM one. The board is very clearly not the same as that in the original Ford.

So I bought this key and had a genuine ford key to code into a 2012 focus estate diesel. The genuine wouldn't work, but this one did! I was told this wouldn't work as it was 40bit and my original fobs were 80bit. But it works absolutely fine. For those unsure yes this does need to be coded by ford or someone with the equipment.

The guy tried to programme it and it didn't work, so he tried it again and it worked and it's worked fine since.

A menos que sepas hacerlo tu, debe programarlo un especialista En mi barrio hay una zapatería que curiosamente vende todo tipo de llaves de reemplazo para vehículos, y lógicamente sabe programarlas. Si no, el coche no arrancará, ni se abrirá. No tiene el material de plástico tan robusto del que está hecho la llave original de mi Smax, pero es un reemplazo correcto. La mía, aunque aún funciona, no está en muy buenas condiciones después de tantos años.
