MTM Ammo Crate Utility Box - ACR4

Very good. Will take one box of 500 12 guage cartridges. Bung in a bag of silica to absorb any moisture and the o-ring seal in the lid stops the damp getting in. Cartridges will stay good for a long time.

Strong, hard wearing with the ability to stack on each other and other MTM ammo crates. The catches are strong and you can padlock the lid down with 2 locks making it very secure. I have several of these in different sizes as they are so versatile.

Generally impressed at how handy these cases are.I bought two, one to hold a 250 cartridge slab of 12 gauge shells (this one the ACR5) And one to hold my Ear defenders , shooting vest, Glasses etc or to store two extra slabs of shell (ACR7)There are a few minor 'Sink' lines in the moulding but not horrendous (this is to do with how the product cools down after moulding and the design of the reinforcing webbing that adds strength to the box).The clips seem good, and the hinges seem adequate. There is a rubber gasket all around the lip although I have no intention of testing how good the rubber seal is on this. I wont be trekking through a swamp or throwing gear from boat to boat, but based on the two clip design I wouldn't expect a 100% seal here.It may be worth noting that the colour is more 'Grey-ish Green' than I expected but that is subjective of course, we all see colour differently.The boot of my car is now much more organised on a shooting trip thanks to these, I will be buying more in the near future.

Ideal for general storage of items- use mine in back of ford ranger to store tools and other small items. Generally watertight (surface only -not submersible) strong design with to sturdy plastic clips. Carrying handles on the side. 4 stars as only had for 1 month. Well update after time has passed. No issues at present.

Have bought 2 of theses boxes for the car. And are really happy with them. They stack up well. I thought I was going to have issues with the handles sticking out so much. However they are so well designed, I can put up with that.

These boxes are wicked awesome I’ve got like 15 of these smaller ones and they for sure hold more than what there rated for as far as pounds go they stack like you would want them to stack nice and tight together and don’t wobble I can see where someone may order one and it come broke but it had to have been ran over by a forklift they seal good and latch good when closed very sturdy I store ammo in them and haven’t had a problem with moisture I will also say the same thing about the bigger ones and doesn’t matter what color either these are all great I’ve got another 15 or 20 of the big ones too and plain on getting more all I use these for are ammo and I just like any other gun but don’t want my bullets to ever see a drip of water and this box is the way to go

Has nice holes to add locks. Extremely durable as I have very heavy stuff in them right now and they are extremely sturdy. I purchased 2 and they are stackable as they have feet that fit into 1 another.I will do a more comprehensive review soon.
