An affordable gem!
I've been looking for a drawing board for a while now after developing a lot of tension headaches from looking down at my desk for the majority of the day. Found this little gem while searching for a3 boards after deciding that a2 ones were too expensive. Couldn't believe the price so thought I'd pick one up anyway and if it was rubbish I wouldn't be the ยฃ90 out of pocket I would have been with the boards I'd previously seen. I'll be honest. I was expecting something a little home made, a little rickety and slow to be posted. What I got was good quality, solid, well packaged and came extremely quickly (and with tracking, hearts for that!) The board itself takes a bit of getting used to. It's extremely large and takes up most of my primary desk but the depth of it does mean that my bristol board pads, reference images etc can be stored inside and away from harm. The lip at the bottom of the board is a god send as it means I don't need to masking tape my paper on. One of my biggest concerns was that with this being wood it'd be very rough and thus hard to draw on. I've only used Bristol board so far but have not felt a single lump through it and thats with quite a fine nibbed pen. It feels fairly smooth to the touch. Overall I'd definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a drawing board. Its top class.

Exceptional Value
I needed to purchase an A2 sized workstation for my upcoming university course. Originally I was going to make my own, and cut down some wood from the local B&Q. However, I spotted this product whilst browsing and thought 'why not? It's only ยฃ23 and will save me some time'. This product is exceptional value for money. The wood is of adequate quality, and the product is very sturdy once set up - no wobbles or shakes whilst drawing/painting. When folded flat, the product can be carried with ease. The stand on the back acts as a handle, and the product is lightweight. The only negative point I can make is that the wooden arm (that you put into the cut out grooves to select an angle) is a little flimsy, and feels like it could be snapped easily (but only whilst being handled). Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Perfect Drawing Board
This was ideal for my purposes of drawing at different levels either flat or at an angle. The table top is adjustable to 5 angled positions and one flat position. The price is cheap and the only small thing that I didn't like is that the top of the drawing board appears really thin like it has a thin layer of wood over the top instead of solid wood. But this small point aside it seems sturdy enough for my drawing and painting and my clips I've owned for years fit it perfect. There are better drawing boards out there, but for price and a decent art product this is a good cheaper option. Still 5 stars because it's a nice drawing board and served me well.

Good product, handy size - hollow board but good construction
This is quite a nice product, though not as solid as expected: the board is 'hollow' (and therefore light, which I suppose is a bonus for some?). It is reasonable sturdy, and the joints seem reasonably strong. The angles are OK, but there might not be one to suit you. So like others, I will be adding another slot (Tip: clamp a scrap piece of wood next to the new hole position and drill it!). You might not find the feet grip that well, but it depends on how you use it and the surface it's placed on (I will fit grippy rubber feet). Generally pleased with it though.

Brilliant product - buy it!
Really well made item. Strong, yet relatively lightweight and easy to move around. Although this is made specifically for artists, I bought it for a different reason - work-related back/postural problems/repetitive strain, so being able to now work 'on a slope' as opposed to craning my neck over a flat table has made an incredible difference - it's been a real godsend and has literally saved my bacon! The workstation has 6 slope positions, so there should be something for everyone there! I also like the fact that it includes a lip on the base to stop papers sliding off. Arrived the next day too (although I hadn't paid for next-day delivery) so altogether delighted and would recommend it to anyone.

a great piece of kit
It's a solid drawing board, a good size too. Excellent for sitting on your desk or kitchen table, it's somewhat too big to be really portable but it's easy enough to move around the house. Solid construction and feels nice and solid. I'm really pleased with this as I've been after a drawing board for my daughter for a while but this is the first board I've found with a decent balance of design, quality and price. Highly recommended.

Not for heavy duty!
The good bits: * It's light weight * It came very quickly and was well packaged The not so good bits: * To keep the weight down it's very flimsy, with the board being made up of thin ply or hardboard covering over both top and bottom of a lightweight frame * The supporting frame for varying the angle is very flimsy, with not very secure screws fastening it to the underside of the board * It only has three angles, all too steep for watercolur work If you are prepared to epoxy glue the support frame to the bottom of the board and cut some additional slots to vary the angle, it should be OK for studio work and because it is light weight it's also OK for outdoors. The idea is good for a lightweight structure. The quality control of manufacture and material leaves much to be desired.

Not suitable for watercolour.
Nicely made and finished in good materials and its packaging doubles as a useful carrying case. However, for painting in watercolour, it's pretty useless. You can only lower it to what is still a pretty steep angle, so wet paint will run. This seems rather amazing given that Reeves are themselves in the watercolour business. For a craft application involving working in a more perpendicular plane, it should be OK but the lip could be deeper to accommodate tools, pens, brushes. It would also be better if the bottom edge of the work-board went down more or less to table level. You may need an added cushion on your seat. .
