I’ve never used PowerPoint before, and I felt that this was the book for me. I’ve not gone all the way through it, but so far, it’s been great and relatively easy to understand. Another book that I will have by my side throughout my course. Review: Easy to read. - This book is an excellent book giving step by step how to use power point application. Useful book
Despite there being many you tube videos for PowerPoint, having a printed book to hand is very helpful and I look forward to improving my skills with its aid.

Not ideal for complete Dummies - need a good level of knowledge - shame
As described - delivered as promised - very American in its writing and very much based on the latest edition of Microsoft. OK but not brilliant.

This book helped me go from an intermediate user of an ancient PowerPoint version to an advanced user of the 2016 version in just a matter of days. Highly recommend getting the Kindle version on your computer and having PowerPoint open as you read the book, so that you can go back and forth as needed to practice and get hands-on experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to boost their PowerPoint skills. Well written and edited, no distracting errors (a pet peeve of mine).

For basic info, it's fine. Maybe a decent primer for a full read through, but format and design of the e-book made it difficult to find critical info quickly. So, if you're using it for quick answers, as I do, that's a bit awkward. If you're reading it as a primer, you might have a better experience. I was hoping it would answer some in the trenches user questions more clearly than the MS-Help files, and had limited success with that. If the Amazon scores allowed half points, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5.

The exact instructions I needed to create videos of PP presentations. The Dummies book line is tops in my view and recommend them. I have used them for investing, Windows, and now presentation software.
