Crankbrothers Speedier Lever

Dam, solid stuff and changing tire was never so simple. Why did I struggle for last 30 years and do all by hand or butter knife. Why did no one tell me these items exist? thank you YOUTUBE! Its a dam handy tool, not taking much space and even if you have to only use it once a year. It does the job great and its worth the buy. Functionality, definitely there!

Had this for a year now and used a few times. Needs quite a strong hand to remove or refit the tyre, but quick to use and so much easier than regular tyre levers or the Topeak Shuttle. It's only nylon but the tip is quite substantial and it seems robust so far. Not completely obvious how to use it so suggest studying the instructions and keeping a pic of the key diagram on the phone for when you're on the road.

I wasted most of yesterday afternoon trying to put a trainer tyre on my bike with the help of regular tyre levers, at the end which all I had to show for my efforts was a tyre 3/4 on and two black and blue thumbs (they are so bruised they look like they've been dipped in blackberry juice). I ordered one of these Speedier things last night and it was delivered ten minutes ago. 5 minutes later my tyre was on. I should point out that at the same time I also ordered one of those things that looks like a pair of grippers that 'pulls' the tyre over the rim which I tried first but gave up after a few minutes because it was no more effective than the regular tyre levers (it just pushed the last unfixed bit of tyre around the wheel). I was also worried I was going to crimp my rim as it was making some scary groaning and sqeaking noises. The speedier lever just worked as advertised first attempt. You need to pull it towards yourself and it requires a bit more strength than I was expecting TBH. But my tyre is on and my thumbs are safe. The way it works means I'm much more confident that my tyre is on without pinching the inner tube which I wasn't using the regular levers.

Not had to use these very frequently thank goodness but a really effective device either for use on the road or at home in the workshop. Excellent piece of equipment.

Frustrated by punctures? No More!!!!!!! Fantastic, and a game changer for removing and fitting bike tyres. It is genuinely well designed, works a treat, and is small enough to be totally portable, brilliant.

After reading reviews I bought this tyre lever to safely refit a tyre. The previous review is correct, it would be very difficult to remove a tyre using this tyre lever only. I struggled using three levers as my tires are very tight to the rims. However, the lever works very well when replacing the tyre. Previously I have wasted inner tubes by nipping them, and really struggled to get the tyre back on. This device made it so much easier so for this purpose well worth buying. The design makes it much less likely that a tube will be nipped. So well worth the money BUT you still need a tyre lever to take a tyre off if yours is one of the modern tyres that fit very closely to the rim.

I found these really easy to use, I had problems removing my tight tyres with the standard tyre levers and took me 2hours to do so and using soap to fit them back on. Took me like 5mins to remove them and fitting them back took me about 15mins as I say my tyres and rim are really tight and I had great difficulties doing it but the crankbrother tool works wonders. Highly recommend these especially if you have tight tyres, only will one bad thing is that after using it the lever was scratched but the tool itself is quite sturdy and strong, but i would definitely get another if they broke.

Très bon outil. Solide. Un peu agressif pour les montants du pneu donc attention si vous êtes monte en tubeless. Sinon permet de ne prendre qu' un seul outil pour réparer une crevaison en sortie, marche très bien et évite de galérer avec trois démonté pneu qui cassent régulièrement ou abîme la jante si en métal.

I saw this and took a chance on Crank Brothers Speedier Tire Lever. This dual sided tire lever is amazing. I have used it twice now and everyone that has changed a bicycle tire, know the last 8 inches of the bead of the tire is the worst, but the hook for the rim slide put the tire on with ease. Whenever I go out cycling, it is a must have tool to be on the bike ride.

Amended review. Once I popped the beaded edge of the tyre away from the rim into the center, this tool really did the job. Sliding around the flat tyre, taking it off and installing a tyre But popping the tyre away from the edge has to be done by hand and fingers. I couldn't get the lever to help with this.
