Is this oven suitable for fitting under wall cupboards?

Hi again  As per instruction book which came with the oven: For proper operation the oven must have sufficient air flow i.e. 5cm/2inches at one side, the other being open. 15cm/6inches over the top and 10cm/4inches to the rear.  I have a 4inch clearance over the top but open on both side.  The rear is situated in a corner of our kitchen so the sides are 2inches form the wall but at the centre of the rear I have roughly 8inches to the wall.  Hope this answers your question.  (please note that this by far the best oven we have ever used and we have used many over the years)

H6w long does the Acrylic interior lining last without scratching and/or bubbling? Is it as good as stainless steel?

We have had this microwave for a few months and is our first flatbed microwave, but not our first Panasonic.  I can't say how long the interior lining will last, but I can describe our experience with it so far.  The bottom lining is very hard and glass-like and is in perfect condition after using the microwave daily.  There are no scratches on our lining, even though I have put some heavy plates in there to warm food without paying any attention to it.  The interior sides seems like they are made from thin metal, but are coated with a synthetic material which seems tough. The whole interior cleans well too.  Based on our experience so far, the interior seems as resilient as metal would be.

Question 3

My microwave drives me mad when cooking has ended  by screaming out 5 loud beeps. How does the Panasonic tell you it's finished?

This microwave does beep when it has finished and even beeps at each minute beforehand but they are not loud. I know what you mean HappyBunny my last cheapo microwave used to drive me mad with it's loud beeping at the end but this one is quieter but yes still a little annoying but I accept this one. This machine is a high quality machine, exceptionally well made and would buy the same again if I ever wore this one out. It's very easy to keep clean as it has no rotating glass dish and it very powerful, up to 1000w. It's a bit complicated to work out to start with but I don't regret buying it at all....it is bigger than a regular microwave so oval steak plates can be put inside, best microwave I have ever had.
