These beautiful Solid Oak A5 Photo Frames are Handmade by us in our Gloucestershire based workshop. The small A5 oak frame is one of our best selling small oak photo frames. And for good reason the natural light oak we use is pleasing to the eye as only 100% real white oak can be. Ensure you are buying the best value not the cheapest ‘oak’ frames as they are likely not real oak and will disappoint if you are looking for a quality natural oak finish. So, if you care about looks you should treat yourself to the real thing. We have cheered up many a disappointed customer who have bought one of the many fake oak frames out there made from MDF, plastic or even cheap Polycore. They may look alright from a distance but Polycore in ‘Lime Oak Colour’ (compressed polystyrene compound) is a brittle compound that can break easily if accidently dropped or knocked off the wall dusting. Our A5 real oak picture frames can be hung in either in portrait or landscape position on the wall using the supplied fittings that will come free with your frame. Our solid oak frames also feature real glass (that can be removed unlike others). If you prefer standing no problem, our A5 oak frames can stand alone on a shelf, sideboard or mantlepiece in either portrait or landscape positions. Beautiful Hand Made Solid Oak Frames We don't put any stain, wax or oil on the wood as we like the inherent beauty of natural oak. It does take a stain or wax very well. Something like Beeswax or Liming Wax can give a very effective finish. Each Frame is Handmade by Ourselves With 30 years of trading we've learnt a thing or two about making excellent quality oak photo frames and each frame is individually checked and scrutinised in our Quality Control process. Each frame is quality checked and packed in purpose made packaging We send the frames out ourselves, using one of our specially made boxes. This way we minimise the chance of the glass being broken or the frame getting damaged in transit.
