Fantastic bit of kit
I have two pugs who absolutely hate getting their nails trimmed. In the past, I’ve used traditional clippers and unfortunately, I’ve cut too close more than once—causing bleeding, yelping, and a whole lot of guilt on my part. Needless to say, nail trimming had become a dreaded task for all of us. Enter this nail grinder. It’s honestly been a game-changer. While my pugs still aren’t throwing a party when it’s time for a trim, they’re so much more tolerant of this tool compared to clippers. The grinder is gentle, much less scary for them, and I feel way more in control. No more second-guessing if I’m about to cut too short—just smooth, safe filing. I can already tell that with a few more uses, they’ll be completely used to it. The noise isn’t too loud, it feels solid in the hand, and the results are great. If you’ve got dogs who are skittish about nail trims or if you’ve had a few nail-cutting mishaps like me, I can’t recommend this enough. Absolutely worth it!

Works well on scared dogs
For the first time in 6 years ,I've managed to trim my dogs nails by myself without having to sedate and hold him down. This little grinder is superb! quiet, makes a bit of noise but nothing too disturbing for my dog. Only took a little off on first go but it was so quick and easy. Lots of treats for my boy for being so good. Did a little bit more 2 days later with no problem, my dog definitely more relaxed this time. Game changer!

Awesome
Love it, quick and efficient, no issues so far. Goes through nails effortlessly but a little noisy. The reviews where it can't file must be faulty, I have to be careful to not accidentally touch my own nail or it'll go through in a moment.

Needs patience from dogs
Takes a long time and dogs would not sit long enough. But good idea rather than clippers.

Great device
Great kit and quieter than the last one we had. Dogs are more accepting of it.

Robust, easy to hold and works perfectly.
Nice robust design. Takes a while to fully charge. Easy to use, good size and comfortable to hold when trimming dogs nails. I have a rescue that hated being groomed due to trauma (or never experienced it). So I have spent the last 6 months getting him used to the sounds, vibrations etc I have a nail clipper, but that was just too nerve wrecking for both of us. I had to send him to the vet to be sedated and have nails cut. I thought I'd invest in this grinder and much to my surprise he let me file his nails down on speed 2. I'm taking that win! Once we are both used to that, we can up the speed setting. I like the light so you can see what you are doing and check the nail to see if you are getting close to the quick. Which on black nails isn't easy. With replacement heads available, I would say this is great value for money, and it's already paid for itself.

Ease of use
Does the job with my Golden Retriever. Only reservation is that you need two hands to hold then activate the power button. Could do with operating the device one handed whilst other hand has the dog’s claw ready.

Nobita, my medium size dog used to being afraid of nail trimming. He hid his palm with an asking-for-forgiveness face when I tried to cut his nails. It was dangerous that an over-clip might happen and hurt him. I decide to ignore it, but too lengthy nails make dada noises when walking, and started influencing the way he stands. Once, he even fractured a nail streaming with blood after running with his friend. I took him to the vat emergency at midnight and cost a lot... For the test, I bought my first dog nail grinder at random The motor made a loud noise, even my hand could feel the vibration. It makes Nobita nervous and ran away several times. I caught him finally, but the power was not enough to damage his black hard paws. The grinding wheel even fell apart to some kind of metal component and a little piece of sandpaper. With this terrible experience, I tried to do some homework to make sure not to buy trash twice. I found that almost every dog nail grinder's appearance looks the same cheap, except for a well-known native brand. It seems more professional and the indication shows low noise and applies to small/medium/large dogs. I thought that was what I need, but I chose to buy it at the department store in case I don't satisfied with the product quality. I regrated it immediately when I saw it. It was so light and the glossy plastic appeared just like a cheap toy. Besides, I didn't believe it applied to medium dogs cause the power was weak. Or maybe it works if takes more time. I changed my keywords to English for getting more choices, and Casfuy showed up. Many people have brought it and left high scores. The affordable price seemed worth trying. I registered an Amazon account quickly, became one of the brought in the past month's amount, and waited for delivery. The product's appearance was just the same as the picture, with good texture, and proper weight, seemed more like a tool but not a toy. It was fully charged so that I could use it immediately. I turned the power to speed 1 for trying, it was low noise indeed. After that, I hold Nobita to try again. He was nervous and I could tell from his face, but he could take it so he just turned his head to another side. Speed 1 works, his nail was quite shorter, and I turn to speed 3 so that I could finish it faster. Too lengthy nails might be the reason that the nail grinder became not as useful as the first nail I tried. It works again after I removed the wheel cover and use an eraser to clean the grinder wheel. I thought the next time would go well cause Nobita's nails had been trimmed. Overall, this is an extremely effective tool for nail trimming. Just be careful not to inhale the nail powder.
