"softening effect which lasts for up to 7 days and up to 60°C". What is the temperature in a normal boiler? Doesn't the effect dissapear?

Hello,The softening effect is actually effective up to boiling point, it was originally tested at 80°C where it achieved 99.6% efficiency, but is regularly used as a filter to protect coffee machines and other appliances which heat water to near boiling point - the effect does not dissapear for example at higher temperatures
