Solid 5star for gaming and work without overpaing
For 50$ its a good price for Work and Gaming. It has LOTS OF FUNCTIONS, I use macroses, and that's why I need so many side buttons. I run it mostly at 800dpi. in wireless mode, no problems with tracking or connections. For my L-M had fits perfectly but im using NAGAs for 15years since the original 2012 arived may be biased. No extra LED, and the black color reduce amount of questions from coworkers. its a sleeper. Also, I like its endless inertial scroll feature. im not a cyber star in CS: GO, so for me it's a solid 5 stars. Even over the PRO version that doubles the price.

Razer is back on top! Naga V2 is awesome.
I used to despise Razer, but nowadays, the MMO mouse from Razer is pretty decent hardware. Their biggest problem has always been their software, however, and I must admit their support for software integrations is lacking. There's no OBS integration and no Discord integration. I'm getting by without setting up macros for hotkey combos by simply using my Logitech keyboard's macro keys for the integrations I want, and the only reason I didn't get another Logitech mouse was Logitech didn't make a new mouse model and discontinued their old, wired G600 model, making it cost too much to replace. I went with the Razer Naga V2 because it was somewhat cheap by comparison and wireless and I felt like giving other brands a try. I ended up really loving the build quality of the Naga V2, but Razer's software was still pretty terrible. The hardware design is pretty good, but there are some ergonomics issues. The top left mouse click buttons (not left click) are hard to find by feel and also a little difficult to reach. There's no palm rest for a big hand to rest on. I think this mouse could benefit greatly from a 3d printable palm extension, but that would increase its weight, and the mouse is very lightweight. I ended up using a wrist rest that helped a little with mouse fatigue. The battery is somewhat easy to swap out, and you don't have to swap often. It uses a single AA battery, and I opted to use a rechargeable lithium battery in it that adds some extra capacity. The LEDs on the buttons are very dim by comparison to my other MMO mice, and they don't have the same flair I get from some other brands. The colors are customizable, but there's no wave effect on the mouse, which is weird because Razer's keyboards have the wave effect. DPI is easy to change on-the-fly. I see no noticeable lag from being wireless. I also don't see any connectivity issues as long as I keep the mouse within 8 feet of its dongle.

Battery lasted 43 days via the wireless dongle. This'll be my mouse for 3-5+ years.
This seems like a good mouse. I believe it will be the mouse I use for the next 5-20 years. This review is for the Naga V2 Hyperspeed, 2026 I removed a star, due to Razer's reputation for poor quality. And for the Razer Synapse software; which I assume acts as spyware. Hopefully blocking the outgoing traffic in Windows firewall is enough to prevent that- I doubt it. I believe if you plug it into a different computer, the mouse will retain your settings (your DPI levels, saved macros, etc.). So maybe you could get away without installing Synapse (installing Synapse on a different device) - to customize the mouse settings. It'll probably just wind up auto-downloading something, or getting you via Windows Updates or whatever. Other cons: -I believe I am having a macro compatibility problem. I have one of the side buttons mapped to ctrl. When using Chrome, occasionally the computer seems to think "ctrl+tab" is being held down. And Chrome cycles through tabs at the speed of light, until the dongle is removed. The problem does not come back when the dongle is reinserted. This happens maybe once a week. -There seems to be a scroll wheel problem. I use the mouse in the free-spin setting. Occasionally, it will scroll down on its own. I can't recall the use case around this. I assume the wheel sensor gets stuck halfway between reading a movement, and when you bump the mouse, it's enough to cause it to detect a further scroll. Like, you will be scrolling down a page of text. You will stop scrolling. You will read for awhile. (then, either you move the mouse, and it scrolls down a few lines. Or it scrolls down a few lines on its own. Probably 1 scroll wheel deviation's worth). This happens probably 2-3x per week. It is annoying, but not enough to write off the mouse for me. -The ctrl macro also seems to get stuck occasionally, and zoom in/out on a Chrome webpage. I assume there's some delay required between using the macro button, and using the scroll wheel. I have become aware of how I use that button now. I assume when you press the button, it holds ctrl for like 0.7 seconds or something. Just long enough to cause problems. I am using a 2450mah Eneloop Pro AA battery. With the 2.4ghz USB wireless dongle. The battery lasted about 43 days of use. I would guess that I use the mouse about 6 hours/day. Maybe 4-8 hours/day, 5-6 days/week? I would consider it about as heavy use as you could expect. I use it primarily with a laptop; so maybe it spends more time in sleep mode, due to using the touchpad occasionally. It may not last as long with more constant use. I believe I pulled the battery off the shelf as well, so it may have been 10-25% discharged. I can't say for sure. That seems like quite good battery life IMO. I have only used it with bluetooth maybe 1-2 days. I believe the battery life on bluetooth is worse. I compared this to the old Logitech G600 MMO mouse. I think I may like the Naga better; it is hard to say. I miss the third mouse button (the space button, on the pinky finger). It would be great to get that back. The Naga is lightweight. Pretty Ergonomic. The rearmost column of buttons may be harder to hit. The foot pads feel fine. Obviously, wireless is nice. I don't miss having RGB. I also compared it to the Corsair Scimitar Elite RGB Wireless. I would choose the Naga V2 Hyperspeed, purely because of battery life. The Corsair lasted less than a week IIRC? Maybe a few days? I can't recall how many different settings/options the Scimitar had; but the battery life made it impractical for me. I'd rather recharge a set of 4 AAs a few times a year, than a mouse >100. The Scimitar had a neat moveable numpad. I think the Scimitar may have been a bit smaller, and felt good in the hand. I also like the feel of the Naga V2 HS- it is large enough + tall enough to be comfortable in my average sized hands. Supposedly the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE, or some other version of the Scimitar, gets better battery life. Maybe it'd be cool to have RGB/lighting. I definitely prefer the weight-saving + battery life extension, if both cannot coexist. I think in terms of software UI, it was Logitech > Corsair > Razer. I can't remember. I have dropped the mouse from desk-height 4-5x onto a hardwood floor. The cover pops off. Nothing has broken so far. It seems sturdy or durable enough. It is mildly annoying putting the cover back on. You have to click the left & right buttons, to get them to seat into their clips. By mildly annoying, I mean 1-2/10. The cover functions fine. None of this takes into account gaming, or build quality. I have no knowledge of mouse hardware, switches, connection, etc. I can't comment on any kind of competitive gaming. I would also make the DPI buttons a little more unique to the touch. I can't really tell when I'm touching them, nor which one I am touching if so. Maybe I'll get used to it in the future. I have no idea how adding a USB-C charging port/wired-ability would add to weight/cost. I don't think I'd want it; it's something I'd probably use twice a year, and isn't worth the trade off. The mouse seems about as good as you could expect for an office product. The single AA battery seems to be a good tradeoff of weight/battery life. 30-45 days between swapping batteries is a good period of time for me. In conclusion: I think this is an alright nomination for a wireless g600 successor for primarily office use & casual gaming. I'd probably choose a wireless g600, if available, and with similar battery life. The space bar pinky switch was quite nice to have; it's a bit annoying mapping it to another key. At this price I think it's a safe buy, and I'll use it for at least 3-5 years, before checking the market again for a different MMO option. I'm not aware of any competitors, or other options, which offer an MMO mouse with a battery life of >30 days. For this reason alone, I choose the Naga V2 Hyperspeed. Overall, I think it's a fine mouse. Maybe an honest B. Nothing else seems to compare to it at the moment unfortunately. The Naga V2 HS will serve as a fine holdover until the next wireless MMO mouse with >20-30 days of battery life comes out.

It's no G600...
Let me start by saying that this mouse is not a bad mouse in general, but if you are a gamer and you are here because you are looking for a replacement for your Logitech G600, you will probably not love this mouse. I have been a G600 user for many years, and my last one recently started having some issues that made finding a replacement necessary. The V2 is *slightly* smaller overall than the G600, so it may not feel as good in your hand. It does have a bit of a lip on the right side where your ring finger rests, similar to the G600's shift button, so it seems like Razer could have implemented this feature, but did not. The scroll wheel on top seems sluggish to me, in that it takes quite a few scrolls to move down a page, and I have not found any setting in the Razer Synapse app to change this. There is a button underneath the scroll wheel that "unlocks" the wheel and allows the wheel to spin freely instead of "clicking," however that is all this button does, it is not a functional button like the G7 and G8 buttons on the G600. The V2 has two buttons in the top left corner of the left mouse button. By default these buttons are for turning the DPI up or down "on the fly," a feature which I have found to be entirely useless. I have never met anyone who adjusted their DPI once they found one they liked, much less needed to constantly change it. Even if you did need or want to do this, the buttons are pretty far away and not very easy to hit. You can re-map these buttons in the Synapse app, but again I have found they are too hard to reach for them to be useful. By far the worst feature is the 12 side buttons. It has the same number of side buttons as the G600, however they are considerably smaller than the buttons on the G600. The buttons on the V2 are also not as beveled as the ones on the G600, are placed closer together, and do not have the home row "nubs" on the middle buttons which help you know where your thumb is. Additionally, where the G600 buttons are angled towards each other, with row 1 and 2 angled down towards each other, and rows 3 and 4 angled towards each other, the angling on the V2 side buttons is kind of all over the place, making it more difficult to move seamlessly from button to button. As far as connectivity goes, I had no problem using the dongle to connect using the 2.4ghz option, and so far the mouse seems to track well. You will need to download the Razer Synapse app to customize keys and DPI settings. It does not seem to allow you to customize the polling rate, other than to choose from 125, 500 or 1000. All things totaled, this mouse does not stack up for me and I will probably be returning it. I find that not having the G7 and G8 buttons on top, and all of the shortcomings with the side buttons make this very difficult to use while gaming. I find myself having to pay far too much attention to what my thumb is doing and trying to find the right buttons. TL;DR - If you are a gamer, especially one who is accustomed to the G600, this mouse will disappoint you.

buy it. buy 2 if theres a deal. theres nothing better on the market. software is good.
have to admit admit that while i dont love the razer brand, this mouse is without a doubt the best - as in the most capable/powerful mouse - on the market. scroll wheel side buttons? yes, they work perfectly and are clicky in a good way, not in a bad way. all the buttons are tactile and responsive. i have average size man hands and the mouse is a lot more comfortable for long sessions than other mice ive used, so i'd say the size/comfort/ergonomics all just kind of work if you have medium and small hands. the synapse software is easier and better than the logitech g hub software. it is definitely more powerful, in terms of just what you can actually do with the mouse and all of the buttons. you can have a crazy amount of macros and software launchers and all kinds of stuff. if you go really overboard and use 3rd party software to add another layer of commands and controls you basically have infinite controls/macros. the only flaw i think ive really noticed is that the design of the buttons near the thumb naturally sits - this only happens while gaming - sometimes your thumb may accidently press one of those side thumb g buttons so you need to take that into account or train yourself out of doing that.

Amazing all rounder mouse
Surprisingly reliable and long lasting for a razer product. No issues experienced with connectivity, and bluetooth mode does its job although its not a very good one, think of it as a power saving mode. I like that I can change out the batteries as well so theres the security of it not becoming e waste if it's built in battery dies. And overall its very comfortable apart from the there not being any support for your thumb to rest on under the area with the numbers, some MMO mice have that support rest area but not this one, not a deal breaker though, great mouse and my favorite so far

Best mouse I've owned.
After my Logitech G604 at work decided to start having switch troubles, it was time to look for another mouse. I was hoping to get another Logitech G604 or similar since I utilize the side buttons for work and for gaming. Unfortunately, at least as of the last time I searched, Logitech discontinued the G604 and didn't plan on making another similar. I'm glad I started looking at Razer mice as this one caught my eye and I was intrigued. I've had this mouse now for 9 months and it was the best decision I've made in any of my PC purchases, minus the PC of course. The mouse feels good in your hand and is very light compared to the G604. The feet slide extremely easy on mouse pads for flawless movement. The buttons are very responsive and I enjoy the extra 6 that I get compared to the 604; more commands/shortcuts at a thumb press. Some have had the button paint start to wear off but I have not, at least yet, so I'm not sure if they just have super acidic hand sweat or eating Cheetos while gaming. Anywho, the paint has not worn off in any way and I can still read all the numbers on the side buttons. As far as connectivity, I don't 'hardcore' game so I probably won't ever use the HyperSpeed setting on it but the bluetooth works wonderfully and is very quick to connect on start up. The mouse also has a timeout function which you can adjust via the software. The software I don't hear much good about but I haven't had trouble with it I guess. It allows me to program the buttons as needed and that's about all I use it for since this is the only Razer product I have. I'd recommend this mouse to anyone who doesn't like searching for keys on their keyboard for functions. It's not only a great mouse for gaming but for work when you need button combos that are a pain to do on the keyboard. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another one for home and replaced my G604 at home a few months later.

NON Lighting Razer mouse, but very nice still.
DOES NOT LIGHT UP.... as all the other Razer Nagas do. I have always owned a Razer Naga but they are hard to find. The reason I buy Razers are for the lights 1st over everything. Other than what I am extrememly disappointed in, the mouse feels nice. Has bluetooth or USB connections. As soon as connect it works. Buttons are smooth using. It is Batteried, which if you get Snyapse program it tells you the charge. Appearance other than no lights is nice/slick... The description doesn't say anything about non lighting that I seen. Razer failed on this brand mouse. Yes I would buy another one if needed as it does again, feel real smooth. Sensitivity can raise very high, higher than any other mouse ive had. (400-6400)
