Afloia Dog Grooming Kit is a MUST for folks who groom their own pets!
I am typically a review reader, not writer. However, this product is so good, I felt compelled to share my experience. I ordered the Afloia Dog Grooming Kit last night. It arrived as scheduled early this morning. I quickly & easily assembled it and got straight to work on turning my shaggy pup into the Casanova of the dog park. Let's back this up for a minute... I have a 2-year-old male shih tzu who HATES to be groomed... (Or should I say, he used to hate being groomed!). The hair on this breed grows pretty quickly and can easily become a tangled mess if you do not stay on top of maintenance. As the temperatures rise, my boy needs to be trimmed every 3 weeks. Growing tired of the battle (and then clean up) of trimming him by hand, I decided to order the Afloia Dog Grooming Kit per the recommendation of a woman I met at the dog park. Not going to lie, my little fella wasn't having it at first. But, about 5 minutes in, when he realized it didn't hurt and I was getting the knots out, he laid right down in my lap and let me trim his entire body. As I previously stated, I usually trim him by hand. This was so much easier and certainly less stressful. And BONUS, b/c it sucks up the hair as you go, the clean-up time when I was finished with his trim was also painless. I was so jazzed up on how well this worked on the dog, I decided to push my luck and groomed the cat right after. The kitty LIVES to be brushed but is not a fan of loud noises or suction. I was honestly shocked that he too laid down in my lap and let me groom him without incident. So far, this nifty unit is worth every penny. I highly recommend. A++ on the pet friendly sound level, quality of the device and all of the attachments.

THIS IS AMAZING!
I don’t write reviews often but I was very impressed with this product. I have two dogs that are very sensitive about vacuums, particularly my larger dog. She also happens to be an Australian Shepherd mix so she has soft, fine hair and a lot of it. She sheds like she’s starting a wig factory. She is also picky about brushes. Using this vacuum on her was so easy I was shocked. She liked the brush that comes with it, and she didn’t mind the noise, even in the topped out level . (This is the dog that attacks the vacuum even when it’s off). She enjoyed it so much that she even let me brush her tail and her fluff butt (which she is super sensitive about and won’t let me brush it with a normal brush). This is a game changer for her daily grooming and I love it! My other dog is a Scotty and I’m tired of paying exorbitant amounts of money to get him groomed, just to have him come home 8 hours later with extreme anxiety. I used the electric sheers to give him a trim and it was a breeze! He wasn’t thrilled but he tolerated it well. And it only took me 2 hours to wash, dry, and cut his hair, and he was looking pretty shaggy. Now he feels like velvet. The vacuum was strong enough to suck up majority of the hair and kept it pretty clean. I trimmed him in the tub and while there was a little hair, it was nothing compared to how much was in the vacuum. A couple of nice features are the nail trimmers, which seemed to work well, and the different comb lengths for the sheers. (Although they skip sizes, coming in 3, 6, 9, ,12, 18, and 23, which was a little annoying to not have the exact length I wanted, but it still worked out). The hair container on the vacuum has a unique way of spinning the hair around, which creates a nice ball of hair that is so easy and satisfying to dispose of. It comes out all together (which is a pro when your dog has fine hair that likes to stick to everything). I cannot recommend this enough. You will not regret this purchase.

Game changer
Update (4 months): the nail grinder tool has kind of stopped working - it works, but not reliably. It kind of squeals a bunch and will skip/stop spinning if I’m actually using it on one of my dog’s nails. Going to reach out to their customer service to see if they will honor a warranty replacement for this part. It’s only this part with an issue so far - the rest of the machine is still working great. Original: I was nervous to buy this. Almost $150 for a grooming tool is kind of a splurge, and I was nervous that I’d never be able to use it if my pup downright rejects it. She is actually afraid of the wind, and anything else she deems suspicious, so this was definitely a gamble. But I prefer to groom her myself, and I hoped this would help me groom her more regularly. Thank goodness it did! She took barely any time at all to warm up to it. I let her smell everything first (she loves investigating my packages), and after she would smell the brushes I would pet her and use them on her. Once she realized that the vacuum noise meant lots of brushies and scratchies, she was in. The nail grinder was also a huge gamble. She HATES having her paws touched, and hates having her nails touched even more. Somehow I’m able to do both with this tool. That means I can brush, trim her hair, and grind her nails in one sitting, in under an hour, with no mess and no fuss from her! Whoa! I usually do this on a Sunday and we sit in front of the TV while I groom her. For paw time she actually just lays on her belly and I “reward” her after each paw with belly rubs. Best gadget ever!! As far as quality goes, so far everything seems well made. The tray that keeps the tools together is handy, though I wish they were a bit more snug on there. Since they’re a bit loose, it’s easy for them to fall off if you’re taking this off of a high shelf and happen to tip it a little too much, for example. A bag to organize them would have been nice. I also don’t like that there’s nowhere to latch the hose to and nowhere to hook the power cable to for storage. I kind of try to wrap the hose around the unit, and coil the hose up and tuck it under the handle, but that honestly doesn’t work great - it all falls out/apart anyway. If they fixed these things, I’d easily pay an extra $25-$50 for this product, but I still think this gadget was so worth it! I’ve already raved about it to some friends with pets! Oh, lastly - I read someone mention that it’s important to only use these tools on a CLEAN dog in order to prolong their life, and also to make them function to the best of their ability. I made the mistake of not following this once and will not do it again. It’s easy for dirt to start to gunk up different parts without realizing it. So, make sure your dog is clean before using this, and also make sure to clean the tools after you use them. I believe this will help it last a long time, and also help you fully reap the benefits of this amazing tool.

You'll be happy!
I have two dogs, one with a very light, but definitely there undercoat, with mostly Jack Russel like top coat, and then a mini schnauzer. So both dogs need grooming of different types, but this one device has me covered for both! There's a brush and a shedding tool for the first dog, and it's spring, so I filled up the container in no time. I haven't used the brush tool yet, but it's up next. The shedding tool was fantastic and instead of chasing down fly away fur balls, and having to change clothes after brushing my girl, all I had to do was empty the container in the trash, easy peasy. The lowest setting is pretty quiet-ish. It's not a relaxing quiet, but my girl dog was able to tolerate it and adjust within the first session. My boy- the mini schnauzer... I did have to work on desensitizing him, and will still have to, even on the lowest setting, but he's a mini schnauzer- when they don't want to do something, they don't want to do something! So no fault of the machine, and the results for his grooming sessions alone is well worth the money spent! The clipper is great, I didn't have any troubles with it, and with the bonus suction from the machine, I actually had an easier time clipping areas that are usually difficult because the airflow pulls the hair over the clippers and instead of repeating pass after pass, and changing directions 100 times, all I had to do was go over those difficult areas one or two times and it was done. Since I have a little guy, and his hair wasn't too grown out when I used this (I trimmed less than 1/2"), I just barely filled the container in one session. Had his hair been any longer, I would have had to empty the container more than once, but regardless, that is far less of an issue than sweeping and vacuuming after the fact. Game changer, for time, tidiness, and ease of use. So, whether you have one pet that has grooming needs, or two, whether it's a shedding/undercoat tool, or trimmer- you want one of these! Make your life just a little easier!

My dog loves this
I have a female golden retriever dog and she is normally afraid of loud noises and this is not too loud for her. After gently introducing the suction brush to her my dog got use to it. Now she just loves it and lays down right next to me as soon as I get it out lol. I like the different attachments for nails, hair trim which helps me a lot for behind her ears, and even the attachment that helps me get some hair off of my clothes after I trim her. The suction works well for a small/medium vacuum hair brush. It's easy to dump out the hair, it does come with a long cord, and the only thing that needs to recharge is the hair trimmer, it also acts as a suction hair trimmer or you can use it without the suction too. I got the pink one because its fun and I like the bag that keeps all the parts in one spot. I personally just keep the end of the hose inside the bag with the attachments and tie it off so it's easier to carry and put back in my dog care basket with her shampoo, leashes, and toys.

Works great for dogs.
The Afloia Dog Grooming Kit aims to simplify and enhance the grooming process for pet owners, providing a comprehensive set of tools to keep your dog looking its best. With a focus on convenience, performance, and ease of use, this kit offers a range of features designed to cater to both novice and experienced groomers. Here’s a detailed look at what you can expect from this grooming kit. Design & Build The Afloia Dog Grooming Kit boasts a well-organized and practical design. The kit typically includes a range of grooming tools such as clippers, trimmers, a comb, scissors, and a cleaning brush, all housed in a sturdy carrying case. The tools have a sleek, ergonomic design that ensures comfortable handling during grooming sessions. The clippers and trimmers are designed with user-friendly features such as adjustable blades and a quiet motor, which helps reduce stress for both the groomer and the dog. The overall build quality of the kit feels durable and reliable, though some components, especially the plastic parts, might not be as robust as those in higher-end grooming kits. Performance The Afloia Dog Grooming Kit performs well across its various components. The clippers are equipped with sharp, stainless steel blades that provide a clean and efficient cut. They are suitable for a range of coat types and lengths, making them versatile for different breeds. The adjustable blade settings allow for customizable grooming, though some users may find that the clippers struggle with thicker or matted coats. The trimmers are effective for detailing and reaching hard-to-access areas, such as around the ears and paws. They are easy to maneuver and provide precise control, making them ideal for finishing touches. The included scissors are sharp and well-balanced, making them effective for trimming and shaping fur. The comb helps to detangle and smooth the coat before trimming, while the cleaning brush assists in maintaining the tools' hygiene and performance. Ease of Use The Afloia Dog Grooming Kit is designed with user convenience in mind. The clippers and trimmers are easy to operate, with intuitive controls and minimal vibration. The kit’s ergonomic design ensures that grooming sessions are comfortable for both the owner and the pet. The inclusion of a detailed user manual helps guide first-time users through the grooming process, providing tips and instructions for optimal results. Additionally, the tools are easy to clean and maintain, with detachable blades and simple maintenance procedures. Battery Life & Charging For models that include cordless clippers or trimmers, the Afloia grooming kit typically features decent battery life, allowing for multiple grooming sessions on a single charge. The charging time is generally reasonable, ensuring that the tools are ready for use when needed. However, some users may find that battery life can vary depending on usage and the specific model. Drawbacks While the Afloia Dog Grooming Kit offers a range of features at a competitive price, there are a few drawbacks to consider: Power and Performance: The clippers may not be powerful enough for very thick or matted fur, which could lead to longer grooming times or require additional grooming sessions. Build Quality: Some components, particularly the plastic parts, may not feel as durable as those in more premium grooming kits. Noise Level: Although designed to be quieter than some models, the clippers and trimmers may still produce noise that could startle sensitive dogs.

Favorite purchase ever!
This little gadget does it ALL! I have 4 dogs a German Shepherd, Labrador, English Bulldog and a Shorkie. The Shorkie is the one I bought it for because he goes to the groomers every month. The visit costs me $60 after tip so with this purchase I’ll be in the black by mid summer. I gave my little guy an incredible groom yesterday and he looks amazing. Everything is so easy because of the vacuum suction it pulls the fur onto the clipper blade and then just sucks it right up. I used the little mini clipper blade to trim around toe pads, that worked beautifully. My little pup fell asleep during the grooming session because the clippers are quieter than standard clippers. I had to remove a ton of fur off of my dog and since he’s old I went a lot slower. It took me 2 hours with some breaks in between but I only used half of the battery. Note, I only groom a freshly bathed and brushed dog never dirty and matted because that’s uncomfortable for pup with lots of pulling and it dulls the clipper blades. I used the nail trimmer on him and it worked very well because it’s user friendly and again with the suctioning of the nail dust. I used the large brush grooming tool on my other larger dogs and everyone loved it. If you have a tiny little 20 lb. and under this brush is too big to be very useful. I used the large brush on my English Bulldog who had some upcoming shedding. When seasons change she starts getting these little light spots on her fur and if you barely pull or brush them they come right off and make a mess on the floor when someone pets her. The brush easily and quickly removed those loose hairs, so awesome. I didn’t have a problem because my guys are quite desensitized from lots of training but if you have a problem using this tool on a fearful dog just groom the dog in stages. First brush only, next brush attached to hose with vacuum turned off and then vacuum on at lowest setting etc…. If your dog refuses at any point just go back to previous step until they’re comfortable. It’s totally worth the trouble to introduce this vacuum slowly. After grooming all four of my dogs I used he upholstery tool on my black shirt that was covered in fur and it even did amazing job on my shirt. I cannot recommend this vacuum enough, I’m so thrilled with anything that keeps enormous amounts of dog fur out of my eyes, nose and under my clothes!

For the oldie doggies!
I received this today! First pic is before the shave…(Ginger is the rear doggo). Ignore the mess-I just moved! I know everyone starts off with “I never write a review.” I really don’t…. But taking some time after grooming my old lady today, absolutely worth the time to write a review. But 100% worth the money for my old ladies!!!!!!! Both my doggies have really bad grooming anxiety. I wanted to make their lives easier years ago when I purchased a reallllllly nice pair of shears. With these “fancy” shears… the girlies would always shake, get anxiety, pull away, and would get so exhausted (me as well). Several breaks over 3ish hours. Not to mention those shears would be 300 degrees after 10 min of use, and heavy!! This is PERFECT for old ladies!! Ginger is 16 years old!!!!! She is a Cocker Spaniel (pics) and has lots of little “old lady bumps” and the 6 guard was so gentle and still was able to remove hair around her bumps. Throughout, she was calm, she herself did not overheat, no pulling or shaking, and the fact there was not an entire mess of hair all over the floor was amazing!!! The nail trimmer was actually really good! Not like those ones you used to see. This attachment is sturdy and very effective! I did not use the paw pad one, but instead used the shear attachment without a guard, and it did an amazing job! Closer shave with this machine than those fancy shears. All while, my cat was sitting next to me on the armchair of the couch not 3 feet away from the device on the highest level! Hope this helps!!
